    BH92 Bucket options? I can't find a smaller bucket!

I agree. You are basically getting an additional 2 inches out each side…from a force standpoint that isn’t much. I have a 12 and a 24. 12 for trenching, 24 for excavating. If you want to dig out stumps and such maybe a ripper. Give these folks a ring. http://www.kubota-aftermarket.com/ I...

    Cautioning your Family about Operations

Great post, very true. I have a younger dog (pseudo family member) ....he hasn't yet learned to always stay far away from the tractor. It only takes 1 time and I will be the one in the dog house.

I found the perfect tractor, but it has 10,000 to 12,000 hours

Have him fax you full and complete maintenance records (they should be documented in the appropriate section of the manual with dates). If he doesn't have them then I would be done. Not saying I would still buy it even if he did, but thats the first test. No meticulous maintenance records...

Can a L2501 Lift a 1200lb large bale 6 inches off of the ground.

May I ask how many bales you have moved? What have your experiences been moving bales? It sounds like you just look at a manual lift curves and say “yes its fine” which is unsafe. You haven’t considered ballast, terrain, transport length, actual lift height throughout this entire process...

First really bad "oh shoot" moment @ 35hrs

yes I was thinking the same thing. OP you can usually use the backhoe to unpin yourself. It is just amazing how you can use it to move the tractor around, and get it out of tight spots. When digging trenches I use it to reposition. In your case, you could use the backhoe to lift the entire...

Traded my L2501 HST for a Kioti DK4210SE

Spreadsheets are useful to identify glaring differences in specs, and I used one a few years ago as well. I compared the Grand L, Deere 4 series, Kioti, LS, TYM, etc. However case and point as others mentioned...I ended up with a M62 which was not even on that spreadsheet. Yes the spreadsheet...

Electrical question for adding LED lights

I cut my factory halogens, kept the connectors and soldered them onto LEDs. The LEDs are far more energy efficient so you can easily put 3x the LEDs as a halogen. I doubled mine (front and side) and pull lower Watts than the singles.

Real good deal........But have no knowledge ?

Almost assuredly a no. To me the first question is did Kioti ever offer a subframe mounted BH for the LK3054. If yes then you need to re-create that subframe Via fabrication, but change the connection points to fit the JD backhoe. Even then the stress points could be different than the...

These pics are all within a few days of each other. We live in the wilderness and always have friends. We chose to live in their habitat so we have to give them the space they need. Honestly the most likely to outright charge you are the moose. You don’t mess with moose, you find a tree to...

Your criteria for identifying a dangerous animal are a bit misguided. An alternate way to handle it is to only kill those that aren’t afraid of humans or threaten livestock. I have bears on my property every week and have never needed to kill any of them. Down close to the city (45 min...

    Kubota M7030 vs M9000

Is that flow to the 3rd function valves on the front or overall flow that would include power steering? 25 seems pretty high for auxiliary. Tractor data has it as 23.1 gpm. My guess is that is overall not including power steering. My M62 overall is 30.9 gpm and I only get 16 of that to the...

Hearing protection with music when running the tractor? What do you use?

These look promising. If they could do music from a phone via bluetooth as well they would be incredible! My issue is I usually have. hard hat on in the woods anyway so it is difficult to have an over the ear solution. The in ear always seem to fall out when I start sweating...so I just...
