    Mowing with a Bx

FreeHeeler is 110% in his post about the Ferris machine. A Ferris will be my next ZTR. I've had a 54" Deere z910a for 15 years but it rides rough as a log wagon! I mow slopes and ditch banks with it and it will out mow my BX22 and b7300. Like the others have said, if you can swing it get a ztr...

    BX1850 Sputtering

I had that exact problem on my BX22 and changing the filters always fixed the issue for a period of time. The only issue I had with it was the Kubota dealership always had to order the filters and it was a several day wait to get them. I changed to a WIX filter which is a metal screen element...

Starting a llc and picking up some smaller jobs

A note on the hay business that I didnt see mentioned: Be prepared for the DOT cops if they pull you over with a trailer load of hay. They will ask questions as to who's hay it is, where you're hauling it from, where you're hauling it to and why. The answers are : its your hay, hauling it from...

Henro, I have a BX22 and never laid eyes on a BX2200 but have been told they are sim ilar other than the sub frame for the backhoe on the B22. That is the only reason I offered up my suggestion cause I saw the wires under my seat and well, my prior post explains it all !! :p

    Help please with bx2200

Folks that get a new toy, once they get it home, go over it looking at very little thing. They lift the seat and see the lead for the aux work light and think "must've come disconnected" and plug them together.....and you know the rest of the story. I know this to be true. I made the exact same...

    Help please with bx2200

Another thing that will cause the symptom you describe is if the two work light leads under the seat are shorting together or plugged together.

    Hunting and game posts

I scanned back through all eight pages. There were posts and some pictures in this thread that are no longer here. I know this because I've posted here several times over the years. In scanning back through the pages I saw two pictures that may or may not have broken Wolfman's request. An elk...

    BX22 Front Drive Shaft

Ol' Fred puked the from drive shaft out on the ground this afternoon while riding the grands around. To the life of me I cannot find how to get to the Kubota parts diagram lookup page on Kubota.com, Kubotausa.com or messicks. I've been to these pages numerous times but the pages have been...

    Bank account curiosity question

My wife has been an officer in a banking institution for over 30 years. She has always told me any withdrawal, deposit or cashing of a check more than $10,000.01 will get flagged and reported to IRS. Now, whether it actually draws the attention of the IRS is anyones guess.

    Tree Removal

All the power company will do for the smaller oak is cut the limbs up the side closest to the line. If I were to cut it, it go wrong and get in to the power line i'm on the hook for all repairs. Yall have any clue what that would cost? Way yonder more than my wallet can afford. An old guy that...

    Tree Removal

Judging from the two replies, I'm feeling better about the quotes. I'm no judge of tree height. All I can tell yall is I got a 6 foot wing span and I cant reach around the pine trees and touch my fingers. The oak is small but close to a power line. The river birch trees are......damn mess making...

    Tree Removal

Four of the trees are really close to our house so I guess that increases the level of difficulty. Access to all of the work we want done is good unless rain sets in.

    Tree Removal

Over the last year or so I've been listening to my HBIC about her wanting several trees around our house cut. Three 60' live pines, one dead pine that beetles got, one 40' oak and two River Birch trees that I'm tired of cleaning up after, along with limbing up 5 other pines. I told her we would...

Anybody use a 5’ Brush Hog on a BX?

I use a Bush Hog brand SQ420 on my BX22. It handles weight wise fine, cutting it does fairly well. Cutting brush, briars and such is no problem. Knee high thhick grass on the other hand will make 'Mighty Fred' groan. Would probably do better with sharp blades.

    Hurricane Ida

MagicMan, yall still standing down there? We got some rain and wind up here just north of Jackson but otherwise we're good. Last night around 8 oclock after Ida was north of us we lost power for about 7 hours.

    Remove if you must

Even reloading will be a thing of the past in time. They'll ban something we'll need whether its powder or primers. They will get the one thing we'll have to have to reload. Don't think you're safe and have an unending supply just because you reload. The supply chain is already crippled.

    BX2200 BXpanded pressure tester issue

I know what you mean. I have to be careful with my BX22 loader when I dont have the backhoe mounted.

    BX2200 BXpanded pressure tester issue

Jeremy, how is your BX2200 since you shimmed the relief valve? Have you noticed much difference in anything?
