Glow plugs taking longer to come on?

Don't be fooled by a light. In my line of work, we "confirm the customers complaint" (or otherwise we sometimes get led down a rabbithole.!...the worst one is "it always used to do that" (only to find out later than such-n-such model or software version doesn't even HAVE that!) First, you...

    Snow removal

For about 1.5 winters I plowed my driveway with a 1994 Dodge Shadow sedan and a homemade very light duty plow. One storm there was a foot or more of heavy wet snow. Wrecked my plow. It worked quite well until it just didn't. The saying "proper tool for the job" comes to mind. If all you...

    Snowblower help

That *IS* the $64,000.00 question. Are you constantly engaging/disengaging the PTO/blower? (like every time you back up for example?) Are you running your blower below 3000wpm? Does it run smooth at your chosen RPM (not vibrating)? Are you ever ENGAGING (or disengaging) it at 3000rpm? (better...

Hour meter: hours now read with a space between digits.

"... 581.1, but after disconnecting the battery, it was and is now reading 5 18.1 ..." 581.1-518.1= 63

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just got done snowblowing the driveway. *THIS* time it was rather nice. -2*C, 10km/h winds and 5" of powdery fluffy stuff. Pure ice underneath so walked very carefully and rears of the BX are chained up. Although you can't see it, ironically the patch on my coat says "iceman", LOL

Land plane or box blade with scarifiers for an icy gravel driveway?

I have about 2" of ice on my driveway right now....I REJOICED ! Now it means I won't chuck rocks with the blower later on (It's snowing)! If I was on a hill with turns, I'd use a sand/salt mix. I doubt any kind of implements are gonna make much of a dent, (I certainly wouldn't be trying to...

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

I won't answer that (too much math first thing this morning), but when I want to go use my: tractor classic car motorcycle or lawn mower the CONVENIENCE of knowing that it'll start is worth a lot to me, rather than making a 1.5hr run into town and back, hauling a battery with me, finding the...

reversed battery polarity damage Kubota BX 2350

Good luck Mike. I really was just trying to be funny, unlike some of the grumpy old men that seem to pop into threads here and there with their bitterness and extreme sarcasm. Funnybones seem to be in short supply some days. I once bought a car for $200 which had the exact same thing done to...

L4060 Creeps Painfully Slowly in Reverse

I had this exact same thing happen on my BX2380 last year when I wired up some lights. I thought WTF?!?!?!? Turns out the knob that holds the radiator screen/battery cover on, had come unscrewed and fell down between the treadle pedal and the end of the slot. I couldn't see it in the dark. I...

reversed battery polarity damage Kubota BX 2350

This levity probably won't help much, but maybe you should change your screen name to: "nonelectrical Mike" Sorry--I was gonna post this 30minutes ago, I stopped myself, but later could-not-resist. (I tried....and I am sorry!) I truly hope you find the fusible link you're getting help...

    Pallet Fork advice bx 2380

I have the PFL1242 Landpride/Kubota brand for my BX2380. Salesman tried to sell me some offbrand thing for $200 less but it looked like it was built out of tinfoil and had no backfence (or whatever it's called) protection device on it in case things rolled back onto you. I bet I use it more...

    Breaking causes Tractor to stop

As an aside; talking about safety and muscle memory. 3 of our 4 vehicles are standards. (2 cars and a bike) while my wifes car is an auto. Every time I drive it (maybe once every month or two) I get in and press hard onto a blank spot on the floor looking for the clutch. I think this happens...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Good job not losing the glove. I would've lost that thing 50' back and probably never seen it again, LOL!
