I found mine would automatically operate when the switch got wet (I dropped my bucket while carrying it with the grapple to load the tractor on my trailer). BUT, it only did it when the keyswitch was on. Something must be different between our setups.

L3901 - I pretty much always run everything at PTO speed. I have the HST transmission, and this seems to give me good speed control, etc. Also, DPF regens seem to come off without a hitch, without my having to interact at all. Would be interesting to see a dyno chart to see where max...

3 months ago, I bought a used 2017 L3901 HST from a local dealer with the LA525 loader that also came with the quick disconnect bucket. Also R4 tires. 58 hours, had just had the 50 hour service done on it. $19,000 + tax. PO bought a bigger tractor.

That wouldn't be me! I also do mostly woods/singletrack on a Husky FE501 and Adventure riding on a Yamaha Super Tenere. The tractor is also helping me lay out a 2 mile single track loop on my property.

I hate it when that happens. When I picked up my L3901, as the dealer was loading it, it almost raised the rear of my truck off the ground. Before I unloaded it at home, I built some blocks out of 6x6's with a 2x10 on the top and bottom. Problem solved.

Interesting. I had a similar experience last week. Was mowing an 8 acre section of my property when I noticed a large gray object laying in the next pass of grass (not yet mowed pass). Got off and found a drawbar. I thought the previous property owner must have lost his when mowing. Later...

New to me 2017 L3901 that I've put about 50 hours on in the past 3 weeks that Ive owned it. Filled about 100 holes left by pulling trees, and mowed about 5 of my 34 acres before they rain shut me down.

Thanks. I'll just keep running it at 2500 rpm. Seems to work well for the mowing, FEL and grapple work I do. Awesome tractor - has opened up a whole new world for what I can do to enjoy my property.
