Thanks jgregory2010......Did a lot of thinking on where to mount the lights. Good thing I am retired.

Here some pics with the lights off. Also replaced the plastic tool box with a bigger metal one that has secure hasp. The plastic lid kept popping open. Nice to have a hammer handy in the new tool box.

Bought a 12 inch LED light bar on Ebay and they thru in a couple of LED work lights complete with wiring harness. Bought a couple of switches off Amazon and installed.

The 2601 decal is all scratched as well as the hood. I think the dealership is going to replace the decal as well as paint the hood. I had a bx2230 for 13yrs and never had any issue removing and installing the loader.

Just wondering if anyone else has scratched there hood while removing/installing the loader. One of the steel hydraulic lines seems to hit the hood if the tractor is not lined up perfectly.

Thanks everyone for the info. No pics yet...lol. I did cut some grass yesterday and played with the cutting height adjuster. The adjuster wheel is fairly stiff moving to increase cutting height. Going back the other way it moves with less resistance. Just wondering what you guys have found. Also...

Finally took delivery of my B2601 tractor,loader,belly mower and snowblower. Initial impressions.....way bigger than my BX2230. More power for sure, love the skid steer quik hitch....wanted this big time......Just wondering about cutting grass on a side hill road ditch. My bx2230 had no problem...

The cutting deck is not installed yet so im wondering if the adjustment dial comes with the deck itself.....thanks JPF...i checked the pics in the brochure and it does show a height adjust dial.

My BX2230 had that knob. I was looking at the B2601 today and there was no such knob. Only the 3pt speed adjust knob. The new tractor has the the position control valve with a graduated scale by the 3pt lever. That is how you set your cutting height I was told.

I will be taking delivery of my new B2601 next week. One thing the salesman told me is the mower deck and 3 point lower at the same time. On my BX2230 you could put the deck at the TOP position and it would stay up while the 3 point lowered. Does anyone know if the salesman is correct. I hoping...
