Good morning Wolfman, Last chatted back in April about my KX71 ( no dash # ) excavator. I did end up making that tee that I was trying to get so that problem solved. Question I have now is I would like to put a hydraulic thumb on the machine. It was plumbed for a hammer. Don't believe they had thumbs back then, I believe my machine is in the early 90's. I've read about setting the relief pressure but I can't find where that is done or would I be alright just to hook up and go with it. I don't know what the operating pressure to the ports are either. With the fittings removed I cranked over the engine and engaged the pedal one way and had flow, then the other way and had flow out the other port so I'm assuming that the cylinder will move in both directions.
