L2501HST cant remove assembly nozzle

hi everyone, im attempting to remove these parts on my kubota L2501 tractor because it was struggling to start and then stopped starting up completely.

The part is called “assembly nozzle holder”, part number 1G852-53002. am i supposed to unscrew it or should it be able to be pulled out? yanking on it has done nothing so far. ive attached pictures showing what i am trying to remove and the part i have to replace them

Why are you trying to remove them? What troubleshooting have you done? Is highly unlikely that you have bad injectors causing it not to start. The most common problem on these machines is the small lift pump. Do you have fuel to the injection pump?

As filthy as the engine is and having the fuel injection system open, if he didn't have injector problems before, he probably will when he is done.

Yes highly unlikely the no start condition has anything to do with the injectors.

Have you used starting fluid on it?

And I completely agree, opening that all up with it filthy is it is, is quite possible to have caused problems just doing that.

That's the first thing I noticed, dusty layer on everything and he's opening it up!

I have no idea why we're trying to remove them, it's my dad's tractor but he doesn't know how to use a computer or even read very well at all so I figured I would try and help him out by asking here. What he said happened is that he accidentally mixed DEF fluid into some diesel and figured instead of throwing it away he would put it into his tractor instead, for some reason. And that after that it started smoking and sputtering when he attempted to start it, so he thinks that the DEF crystalized around the injectors and messed them up, which is why he wants to replace them. Issue is, he doesn't know how to remove the injectors or how he would replace them after.

It was time for a new tractor anyways, I think.

Before pulling the injectors, test the injection pump for output.
If you do not get output out of the injection pump then work backwards from the injection pump to find out if your getting fuel to the pump.

One clean around them with air and brake parts cleaner, then they pull straight up.
You will need to replace the O-ring and packing when you replace the injectors.
