Oil leak from LA403 control valve.

I have a 2006 B3030 with a LA403 . It’s leaking oil from the control valve . Any chance others have experienced this problem?

You may need to replace one or .ore seals on the spools. A little fuller description of exactly where its leaking would be helpful.

Could you be a little more specific about WHERE the leak is? There are multiple lines, connectors, fittings all over that thing. Is it one of those or what? Take and share a picture of it you can.

Thanks, I’ll have to try to identify exactly where it is leaking from. All I know right now it’s dripping from the low point of the valve block assembly.

Clean it good and then fire it up and go through all the motions and see exactly where it is leaking.

I cleaned it up yesterday and ran for a hour using the loader. I will check it out today

Looks like it’s leaking from the blue and white quick connect fittings. Are these fittings known to leak?

Its not uncommon for quick couplers to develop leaks. Is the leak coming from the tips or at the base? Do they leak when not connected?

Near as I can tell it’s leaking from the female side.

When disconnect I do get a few drips but nothing more.

Thats the side that contains the seals. You always get some spillage when connecting and disconnecting couplers but theyhouod not leak any substantial amount once connected.

The orings in the female body should be able to be replaced. You can also try to clean them and see if they stop leaking.
