Please help. My husband passed away and although I'm kinda technical I am still missing something. Paying Messicks so much in multiple shipments I can't afford diesel. (But who can?) Please direct me to the correct post if this question has been asked before.

I only use the Belly Mower on my B7800. No other implements are attached. Hydraulics seemed fine last week. Now control lever is floppy and my mower is on the ground. I noticed the spring and lock nuts were missing from the feedback bar. (Thanks for all the help the past year, I've read a ton of forum's. You guys are much appreciated.) I ordered replacements and slid them on the bar and placed the screws as far as possible on the threaded part of the rod. Everything else seems connected ok. Hydraulic fluid is good and the knob between your legs is almost all the way on. (Behave.) No change in the arm or movement of the hitch. The feedback arm moves but does not engage the spring. The interlocker assy is still tight and were it was prior. Pin spring is still attached to lifting arm and feedback arm slides up and down - just never touches the spring or moves the hydraulics. Please tell me I don't have to take the tire off.....just shoot me instead.
Thank you so much,
Jessie

Heres a picture of the feedback linkage. Please take a picture of the assembled feedback lingage showing the parts I circled. Post it here.

If the control handle for the lift is floppy and doesn’t lift the 3 pt hitch arms and mower, then most likely something like one of the roll pins where the handle connects to the rod in the case of the axle has broken. It’s probably just a coincidence that the feedback rod has fallen apart.

Ouch, that sounds bad. I guess until I can get a photo I'll go back to diagrams and look for a roller.

Dan, My 15 year old helper put both springs on (I bought an extra) and I can't get them off. I'll pick him up later today so I can get a picture. What about some kind of safety switch? I have disconnected the one for the seat (don't tell anybody,) and wondering if maybe there is one for the three point hitch I should look at?

No there is no electrical interaction involved in the three point operation.

And yea a picture of what you've got going on will help a lot because 2 springs?????

Thanks Wolfman, I have this diagram, I have every diagram, but couldn't find rollers. Let me do more research.
NO Rollers, Roll pins
They are driven into the lever, one inside the other to attach the leaver to the rod that is inside the housing.

@Chaos2art

You are NOT looking for a ROLLER, you are looking for a ROLL PIN that is missing or broken in the mechanism that the feedback rod attaches to. (and just to make you aware, the three point lever bolts onto the same thing as the feedback rod attaches to.)

Here is a picture of something similar to what you are looking for. The rod out of the tractor will have a hole in it (yellow) and the outer linkage will also have a hole (blue). Those holes should be aligned with a roll pin in the hole. The roll pin may just be broken so the outer part is able to rotate without moving the inner part (into the tractor).

Here is what a roll pin looks like when not installed (3 pins are in the picture actually)

And here is a tool set that is designed to remove the roll pins. Since you have an inner and outer roll pin you will need to drive the inner (locking) pin out before you can remove the outer pin.

If you get this type of tool make sure it is for metric roll pins (assuming that Kubota uses metric pins).

It's not bad and it's simple fix.
These are the roll pins he's talking about.

Sorry for the delay - Nothing is attached to pin 50/150. The feedback moves and turns the 40 bracket, but alas......nothing. Can you help me with what I am missing? I tried to push the pin in with a piece of wood and it didn't move. Is it all the way in? Do you know what my next step would be? Thank you. Pics attached. I took pics with the two springs still on as my help did not show up. faf38c96-587f-4840-8568-c222fc236a93~1.jpg feedback lever back.jpg feedback&pin side.jpg

Don't get ahead of yourself. Post a picture showing how you assembled the feedback linkage.

Dan, I just posted these to Wolfman. I also wanted them to get to you. What other pictures do you need? " Sorry for the delay - Nothing is attached to pin 50/150. As I suspected. I am not real familiar with that tractor but I think your stop on the feedback rod is missplaced.

Remove the extra spring, back off the nuts, loosen the clamping screw in the stop, and reposition it rearward so that it clamps the rod tight against the spring. Thats what makes the rod move with the lift arm

Remove the nuts and springs so the feedback rod moves freely.
You will need to remove the roll pin or roll pins that are sticking out of the bracket (blue circle)
You will need to get new roll pins.
P/N 05411-00325 and 05411-00525
In the meantime you can use a cotter pin to get you going.
You will need to move the lever till the holes line up on the bracket and the shaft and then insert a cotter pin in the hole till you get the proper roll pins.
if you get the roll pin to fit into the braket andd shat then reinstall just one spring and the two lock nuts.
Do not tighten them down the rod, as the lock nuts should end up near the end of the rod.

If you rotate the lever and can not get the holes to line up then we get into a real tricky situation that it's possible that the shaft has moved into the case and will not align.
If this is the case it will take some work to get it reconnected.

Agree on the remove one spring and leave one spring suggestion already made. And start with the nuts around the middle to far outside end of the threaded section with the tab back against the inner nut and then the spring holding the tab and nut together.

As to the roll pins they don’t look correct to me. In your picture the pin with the blue circle looks to be the inner pin and the pin with a green line looks like the outer pin. If that is the case it should still work if the pin is actually through the inner rod. Since you can’t move it in then I think both pins are about to fall out. See if you can look into the far side (opposite the blue circle) and see much of anything. You should see the pins or a hole.

I would get those pins pulled out and align the holes and install new pins. You could just use a nail to align the holes and see if the mechanism works when there is a good connection.

Thanks so much for guiding me on where to look next. I hopefully understand the pin situation, what is the red circled area representing?

Since it is pouring rain I crack the manuals again and see if I can figure out the holes you gentlemen are talking about.
