Help with L35 leaks and ROPS/Cabin removal

If you have a FEL then set it as required.

It diverts fluid to external hydraulics or directly into the tractor when no external hydraulic elements are installed. It is similar to the replacement block shown in post #1 of this thread.

Also the manual shows the little flathead screw on the front of the hard line as being directional valve #1 for the front loader system. As you can see mine is unmoved and sitting almost in between. When I removed the line I didn’t take a close look by I assumed this this a bleeder or something. Can someone confirm that I should put it yo the position with a front loader?

If I may, different colored zip ties help with connecting the correct line to the correct fittings. Pictures can be misunderstood. Zip ties are cheap and positive.

I was definitely thinking of this and also using different colour paint pens and maybe even inscribe numbers. It looks like I’ll have a fight on my hands and if the zip ties brake off and the

That was poorly stated…

I meant the valve diverts flow in a similar path to the way the block shown diverts the flow.

I think you and Russell are both right. Dir valve 1 bypasses the loader and backhoe, just as it would on other tractors. But the L35's loader is not removable, so why would you want to hydraulically disable it? And, I don't see how to switch it in your picture. I've wondered if it's a holdover from some other model. As long as your loader works, there is no reason to mess with it.

Directional valve 2 is a different story. It must be switched when the backhoe is on to prevent damaging back pressure from the 3ph. Someone fractured their backhoe control valve by overlooking this.

Ah you’re right I added the wrong picture. Here it is.

It definatly looks like it's not rotating all the way to open or close.
Take it apart and check for debris in the valve.
