Hello.

I would like to purchase an aftermarket or compatible right hand tie rod for my L2900GST. OEM is like $600 and I need to find a cheaper solution. All suggestions welcome.

Thank you.

Thanks, guys.

The rod part is what bent. So, I think I need an entire rod assembly. See pic.

I believe the OEM part number is HTA01-13700, but this rod looks different and it costs nearly $600.

Certainly there's a less expensive solution.

You bent it. Bend it back

HTA01-13700 is just about 18 3/4 inches from the center of one end of the tie rod to the other. Does anyone have any thoughts on using any tie rod that has similar dimensions?

Find a heavier duty aftermarket set up, cut out the bent parts and weld it back together for a stronger tractor

It's not really the length issue as much as the joint size issue.

It's a tractor. You're not traveling at high speeds. Simply remove the bent rod, bit it in a vise and straighten it. You don't even need heat, just patience.
