Not sure what section to put this in so I'll try here. I'm in the process of putting hydro steering on my B7100. The steering gears are pretty much gone, so figure now be the time to do it. Rather than use the tractors hydro, going with a separate system, might be a pain and a blessing at once lol. I want to run the pump off the front of the tractor, there is room, and pumps seem to be small enough to fit behind the bumper. The 7100 has the splined hub attached to the balancer, but is the 21 or 22 spline for the unobtanium snow blower shaft. My 6100 has a snow blower, but doesn't have this adapter, the shaft just slides on the splines on the balancer itself. I'm looking for a way to mount a shaft to either directly to the balancer, or the adaptor. Seems both shafts are unobtanium.

No balancer on that engine just a pulley
If you have the adapter that uses the three bolts to mount to the pulley, you can use a Lovejoy that fits the adapter and use that.

See discussion about "shrink disc" in various threads...

The lovejoy you would use would clamp onto the adapter not the crank splines.

Here's a couple of pictures of the adapter I made for driving a hydraulic pump from the front spline on our B5100. The round aluminum part is a shrink disc that elastically squeezes the adapter onto the spline. The adapter is a piece of stress-proof steel, which is a very close fit onto the spline.

You can use this style too just drill holes and attach to adapter. ;)

So just use the 3 bolts to hold it, not the splines. There isn't gonna be alot of twist force or whatever want to call it....
