Oh that’s a good idea, thanks! I ended up ordering 2 from messicks but next time I’m in town I’ll pick a flanged bushing up of a similar size and that way have it on hand in case im an idiot and don’t secure it right again. That being said I’ll be running a zip tie through it so if it does come out the snowblower doesn’t fling it somewhere out of site. I’m sure I’ll run it over with the mower come spring/summer.Trustable, how about a flanged bushing/bearing? Then drill the bushing for a pin. Or shorten the bushing and use a couple washers and nut & bolt.
I’m glad that the tree missed all the implements! Also, That is a killer setup for cutting firewood! We had hard gusty winds Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday when I headed out to block up some wood that I pulled out earlier this winter I came upon I pine top that had blown out from an old weevil fork. It was laying in the trail and heading up to where I stash my summer implements. There's two Rear Blades, a LandPlane, a Box Blade, and Carry-All up there. Oh-no

But luckily all had escaped unharmed. A clean up job for later.

One thing I like about this FrostBite grapple is that I can grab and firmly hold small stuff.

I spent an hour or so picking up branches and sticks blown down by a couple of high wind events over the last couple of weeks. Got most of them picked up, but had to give the ol' back a break. Probably get the rest tomorrow or Sunday it the weather cooperated.

That one is going to be way more interesting than the first. At least, by the looks of it, you probably won't need a saw to get the base down on the ground but the top looks like it is wedged in there pretty good.Took down a dead doug fir at the horse farm. No drama there.

I did encounter some drama at my place when I went to grab my forks...
Not looking forward to untangling this one...

Please post a video or narrative of how you get this mess down. Is your excavator large enough to get that down or will you have to cut/pull it out.I did encounter some drama at my place when I went to grab my forks...
