Hello all. I am knew here. I recently got a l135 1982 model 4 wheel drive. Front drive shaft coupler was changed by previous owner. But it stripped out and also the splined shaft into front that driveshaft connects to is stripped. Is there a work around this issue or am i dead in the water for parts? I found a picture of part but thats about it!

I don't know of any logical work around to it other than replacing parts.

Have to get a VPN going, those 10 spline 25mm shafts on my tractor seem to be a very rare species.
Any idea WHY the front driveshaft coupler stripped out?
Asking because I had the same issue in a tractor I purchased.
PO (previous owner) had installed front tires/wheels that were too large, causing a mismatch between the tire ratio and the tractor's gear ratio. Splines on shaft were also stripped. Splines on front pinion were badly worn. Got my eye out for a front axle for parts with a good front drive pinion...
