I have a 22+ year old L5450 I suspect the hydraulic pump is failing. I am putting together a pressure gauge to plug into the rear remote. Does anyone know what I should read on a healthy pump and a number where I should look at replacing? TIA.

The pump might be fine and your pressure issue could be from the pressure relief valve not working properly.

Send @rbargeron a PM, I think he can help you out with the WSM for it which will give you all the info you need.
Ran the tractor till warm and checked with gauge at PTO speed got a reading of 2100. Didn't do much looking today, hands were a little cold.

I've been a little lax lately in following L5450 questions. Here's a page from the WSM. The relief setting is around 2600-2700 psi. If your pump is still above 2000 its still capable of doing a lot of work.
