What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Hummed & hawed about pulling the trigger on the Bxpanded dolly for the backhoe on my BX23S, but at $200 USD plus exchange and shipping, seemed too much. So $30 in a set of 3" casters (250lbs rating each) at Canadian Tire, some scrap 4x4 timbers, and voila!

    grading bucket

hah! Couldn't get in with it, too many obstacles and a tight area.

    grading bucket

I was doing a little task the other day, scraping a bunch of soil back from an ancient concrete slab, all the while thinking it sure would be easier if this backhoe bucket didn't have teeth... Tractor Attachments.ca has a 14" cleaning up bucket (and they ship to the USA now for my friends on...

    BX23S Factory 4in1 Bucket

Is there a 4-in 1 bucket available yet for newer ( mine is a 2022) BX23S, with the quick attach bucket system?

Picture of your tractor on your trailer

Arguably the best example of how to strap your tractor to your trailer. Apparently missed the thread on how to attach said trailer to tow vehicle though.

    BX23S surging idle

And fixed..again! Seems I may have had 2 issues; the aforementioned water (which is still a maybe) and a plugged line out of the fuel tank. Tractor had been working great after replacing filters, and running some tank clean stuff in it, then started surging horribly again today. Disconnected the...

    BX23S Fuel Filter relocation kit

Worthy of its own thread I think.. After my recent fuel filter and water issues (which seems like a common problem throughout this forum) I ordered a filter relocation kit, with water separator, from Mike at botaproducts. Received it today, and I must say it appears quite thorough and well...

    BX23S surging idle

Fixed! Changed out the filters (after much cussing and swearing!) but it was still doing it, even worse now. Cleaned out Air filter, still doing it. Dumped in some tank/water cleaner, and after a few starts and stalls it was purring like a little orange kitten again. I did order a filter...

    BX23S surging idle

I didnt check the air filter, but good idea. I did check to see if it was the fuel cap not venting properly; just took it off while it was surging, didn't make a difference. I'll be changing both filters, and probably order a relocation kit with a separator as well, stock location for that first...

    BX23S surging idle

Hello everyone. Started having some surging/idling issues on relatively new BX23S (93 .2 hours). I'm assuming it's a fuel filter issue and have some on order. It starts losing rpm and damn near stalling, with no load. Only seems to happen once it warms up. Same fuel (from Shell) I run in my...

    BX23S Hydraulic thumb on backhoe

I've been trying to place rocks for a rock wall with my bx23s using the manual thumb while inventing new curse words. A hydraulic thumb would make this task, and others, so much simpler. I found one video where they installed a Kubota factory hyd thumb kit, part number BT1975, but its for a...

5x12 Quad trailer worked perfectly for bringing this old B7100 home

    newtome B7100

The clutch was adjusted as short as it would go. I reset it and lengthened so the clevis was about half way , worked okay for about 5 minutes and then she was done; had to rev the crap out it of and nudge it along with the bucket to move on flat ground.

Thanks. Clutch adjustment is first on the list. Just seemed so weird how it was seemingly working fine and then rather suddenly, nothing. That info sheet is handy. Based on my s/n it appears mine was made in 1980 and Asian market.

    newtome B7100

Howdy folks, I just picked a used B7100 4WD of unknown vintage (late 80's/early 90's?) and of course as soon as I get it home problems start showing up. After pushing around a bit of dirt while playing with it this morning, it seems to have lost power. The engine runs spectacularly well, I...
