It seems to work good. I was a little concerned about the shaft being smaller, but with the adapters, everything bolted up nicely. Hopefully your grade five didn't snap off inside the shaft, but at least it's soft enough to drill out. Honestly, if the new impeller was warped, even a grade 8...

I am having and issue trying to find out what the dark blue wire coming out of my regulator should be going to. All the wiring diagrams I can find do not show a dark blue wire.

What I meant was it is round, but instead of a tapered, it is the same 3/4" diameter. Accord to Brigg's they call it a "squared" end instead of tapered. I thought that was a little misleading, myself.

The predator has a 3/4 square shaft, and the briggs has a 1" to 7/8" tapered shaft.

No help either, even went directly to the store for help.

I am looking at a tractor to refurbish. Can anyone tell me just by looking at the photo, if it is an M, L or what? It's a Kubota, just not sure what it is.

I am looking for the part numbers for a shim kit for a relief valve on an M4050. I see a bunch for the L series, but none for the M series. I have also sent questions in to see if they are the same kit, but I can’t get anyone to confirm or deny.
