Engine replacement on Agrifab yard chip n vac

It seems to work good. I was a little concerned about the shaft being smaller, but with the adapters, everything bolted up nicely. Hopefully your grade five didn't snap off inside the shaft, but at least it's soft enough to drill out. Honestly, if the new impeller was warped, even a grade 8...

    m4050 VOLTAGE REGULATOR WIRING

Ok I will when I get home later tonight. Also FYI I have the OEM service manual, and on the schematic, it doesn't show a blue wire going to it.

Engine replacement on Agrifab yard chip n vac

Guys.... Thanks those are some really GREAT ideas. Sorry, IT dept had me offline for a little bit. Technology is great when it works!!! OldHokie, Moots and Speed 25 thanks for all the suggestions!! I think the simple (and cheapest) thing would be to try one of the 3/4" golf taper adapter, but...

Engine replacement on Agrifab yard chip n vac

What I meant was it is round, but instead of a tapered, it is the same 3/4" diameter. Accord to Brigg's they call it a "squared" end instead of tapered. I thought that was a little misleading, myself.

Engine replacement on Agrifab yard chip n vac

The predator has a 3/4 square shaft, and the briggs has a 1" to 7/8" tapered shaft.

Engine replacement on Agrifab yard chip n vac

I know this isn't a Orange piece of equipment, but I will repaint this dang thing if someone can help me. I am just wondering if anyone has replaced the $400.00+ Briggs & Stratton engine with a Predator 212. If you did, where did you find the adapter for the shaft? I have spent a few days trying...

    Help Identifying

I am looking at a tractor to refurbish. Can anyone tell me just by looking at the photo, if it is an M, L or what? It's a Kubota, just not sure what it is.

    Relief valve shims

I am looking for the part numbers for a shim kit for a relief valve on an M4050. I see a bunch for the L series, but none for the M series. I have also sent questions in to see if they are the same kit, but I can’t get anyone to confirm or deny.

    M4050 Clutch adjustment

Yes the PTO works good. I went ahead and adjusted it to the proper amount of free play for the clutch pedal and that fixed it.

    M4050 Clutch adjustment

I have an M4050 (not DT) that I need assistance adjusting the clutch on. It started grinding and won't go in gear. I have adjusted it with absolutely no play, and it still will not go into gear. I saw some posts on PTO clutch adjustment, but not for the drive train clutch. The guy I bought it...

    losing hydraulics

I have an M4050 that works fine until I am digging a post hole. When the auger goes all the way down, I lose all hydraulics. Nothing works, the 3 point arms or the front end loader. I pulled the pump and had it checked. It is fine. I replaced the filter, cleaned the screen, and changed the...

    M4050 Hydraulic problems

I am having a problem with my 3 point lift. When I am digging a post hole, and the 3 point is lowered all the way down, I lose hydraulics to the entire tractor even the front end loader won't work). I thought maybe I was low on fluid (I checked it and it's ok) I thought maybe the pump was bad so...
