    L3010 lugs down

Check to be sure fuel tank vent is open/not clogged. Many yrs ago I had a M4900 that lacked power. After I performed most common fuel diagnostics procedures the local Kubota dealer service manager advised me to closely inspect gallies in water separator housing. I found a small screen on fuel...

Messicks parts site opened like normal for me on my PC using Chrome. https://www.messicks.com/catalogs/kubota/m7040hd/engine/300001-crank-case-old-s-no-8s0230-note-order-by-ref-no-010-and-fig-no-315001-or-03-ref-no-040-070-080-new-parts

    M7040 Weak, choppy hydraulics

I agree as it sounds as if hyd oil was contaminated with water. I suggest to check trans case vent to be sure it's not clogged. One could test old hyd ooil by placing a small amount in a pan then heating to determine if heated oil emitted a crackling sound.

    M7040 Weak, choppy hydraulics

Normally hyd pump's don't just suddenly bite the dust! I suggest to perform good hyd diagnostic procedures before entertaining idea of replacing the hyd pump. I suggest checking hyd pressure with a gauge. I've also owned a ''11 M7040 since 2012. My guess is debris is in hyd relief valve...

    shuttle shift hydraulics

Do you know if shuttle/reverser control is manual or relay controlled? My M7040 is manual via a cable controlled & some other model Kubota's are relay/electronically controlled.

    4 cylinder turbo help!

I'll suggest to check for good fuel flow from tank to inj pump. Is fuel tank vent open? Many yrs ago I had a similar fuel problem on a Kubota M4900 tractor that local dealer service manager advised me to check for blockage in water separator housing. Upon closer inspection I located a tiny...

    Rebuilding a hydraulic pump on a M6800?

I suggest to perform good hydraulic diagnostic procedures. My guess is your tractor has a faulty hydraulic relief valve or possibly 3pt hitch is raised too high due to maladjusted 3pt feedback rod. Over my many yrs since 1965 of being associated with repairing tractors I've read/heard of many...

    M7060 Operation and transmission types

My having owned both synchronized & hyd reverser type Kubota tractors I'll recommend hydraulic shuttle over synchronized shuttle. Hydraulic shuttle uses hyd reverser clutch instead of a dry traction clutch to control tractor fwd/rev motion. The Sync reverser om ,y Kubota M4900 failed @ 1500 hrs...

Gearbox oil - am I smarter than Kubota engineers?

That type grease sounds similar to Corn head grease which is what I use in my cutter gearboxes.

M6800 water in hydraulic oil again. Won't move at 26F. Additives?

Check to be sure trans case breather hole isn't clogged. I've read where trans oil can be drained into a container then very carefully heated to get moisture in oil to evaporate, then reinstall oil. I realize draining oil in sub freezing temp isn't a very good option!!:(
