IMHO the items circled in red circle are hydraulic filters not a hydraulic oil suction screen/strainer that I inquired about. I'm well aware where the hyd filters are located on my M7040 but I've never located a hyd oil screen.

I've owned a '11 Kubota M7040 HDC for 14 yrs & if there is a hyd oil suction screen or strainer I would like for someone to please point it out to me.

I recommend performing good hydraulic diagnostic procedures before R&R hyd pump!!!!! I've read/heard over my many yrs associated with repairing tractors to learn that many hyd pumps have been replaced only to determine replaced pump was in fact a good pump!!

I suggest attach gauges & to check high & low pressures. My guess is your tractors AC system is low on refrigerant.

If frt end loader will be used to load objects on a trailer then I highly recommend installing a front grill/hood guard. I've owned a '11 M7040 hyd shuttle that I purchased used in '12 with a 137 hrs that has 1900 hrs showing on speed/hr meter that has handled many 100's of rd bales, 7 ft...

I agree as it sounds as if hyd oil was contaminated with water. I suggest to check trans case vent to be sure it's not clogged. One could test old hyd ooil by placing a small amount in a pan then heating to determine if heated oil emitted a crackling sound.
