Yes; I find the power appropriate. My property is steep, and I have sufficient power to grade and do ditch work as well as PTO power to brush hog and run a PTO chipper. Weight is a traction factor. I have rear wheel weights and filled tires. Jack

    Newbie in Western Carolina

Hello neighbor! I am in Jackson county, NC near Franklin. 4400’ elevation, very hilly terrain, and in the middle of the forest. I have an L 3301HST. I use my tractor for grading my steep gravel driveway, chipping up the endless branches, helping with firewood splitting and logistics, brush...

    My rear remote installation

Nice setup! I have a similar configuration on my L3301. I found that the valve body began rusting, and I had to take it all apart and paint it. Jack

    BH77 Upgrade

Wow! Did you do the fabrication on the plates to extend the mount? The original BH77 foot room is cramped; that looks really tight! Is the speed and power significantly more? I think that I would upgrade to an excavator before I did all that work; but beautiful job!

What model Kubota Tractor do you own?

L3301 HST with backhoe. It has been very useful and reliable for me.

    Front ballast question

I have never removed my FEL to mow, but sometimes I remove the bucket. This gives me some ballast in the front without sacrificing visibility or maneuverability. In any event, keep the FEL low to the ground. Just my 2 cents (now worth less than a penny). Jack

Public Service Announcement: don't set the wood's on fire please.

This is one reason that I chip instead of burning. Jack
