It was too smoky here on Saturday night to see anything. Yep, the Canadian wildfires have started again already.

    New here with a B6000

I went and examined the 2 tractors side by side and I think your idea will result in less hosing/piping. Here's the old one.... And here's the new one... I'll see if I can find somewhere to modify the hardline on the new one going to the aux valve to have a threaded connection for the hose...

Well that should make it easier to plumb them all together. I think I'll go pump ->aux valve-> loader since he did a great job with the hard line from the pump to the aux valve. Well they're all great but that one would be in the way the most. And then I can get a hose made up from the rear...

Sorry, add a second loop. Or look into adding a separate pump for the loader. It does work ok off the tractor hydraulics but it is a little slow. Yes it acts independently of the 3pt hitch. It's hooked up to the main hydraulics off the tractor the same way the loader on the old one. The old...

Got it home today! Now to take off the loader and rototiller from the old one. I'll give them a quick coat of paint before putting them on the new one. I'll also have to figure out how to Tee the rear hydraulic line and the loader lines together. I'll also have to decide if I want to swap over...

We had them pretty good to the North of you in Alberta too. It was nice to see the red and purple's. Funny enough they were more too the South while we were awake.

Well I found another B6000 in great shape locally. Funny enough just a few miles from where I got this one. Everything works like it should and it has the 3pt hitch linkage and a rear blade... With rear hydraulic angle control! My plan is to move the loader over to it and take the rototiller off...

    Kubota B series salvage yard

Hello, Do you have a ring and pinion gear for the front axle of a B6000? I believe the part number is 66711-82810. It is a grey market tractor but I don't think it makes a difference. And if you do, do you ship to Canada?

    Winter ???

Sewer outlet froze up last night at some point. The tank level alarm went off at 4:30am. That was a first since we built this house in 2014. Probably due to the lack of snow and frigid temperatures. I took a Gatorade bucket like they dump the coaches filled up with hot water and an old aquarium...

    Winter ???

They updated the forecast this afternoon. Might hit -50* ambient air temperature tomorrow night. I haven't experienced that here in my lifetime. At least it's sunny and "looks" nice outside.

    Winter ???

It has arrived. Isn't supposed to get much warmer all weekend. Loaded up the wood rack on the front deck so hopefully won't have to venture out much this weekend. Just have to make it home from work today.

    Winter ???

The snow up here is expected to stay away... They say maybe a couple of inches on Tuesday/Wednesday. But the cold is coming back. (°C) not that it matters much near -40. It'll be a change from the near freezing temperatures and very little snow we've had so far this winter. Hoping for some more...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

We've got a couple of these 'garage in a box' things and they work ok. Ours have walls and zipper doors on the ends but we usually get about 5 years out of the tarps. It's important once a rip is noticed in the fabric to tape it up right away or the wind will make short work of it. I found that...

I don't know if it'd help. They were scratching the surface of the frozen snow/gravel but wouldn't bite in. The weight of the loader even with the rototiller on it puts the center of gravity really far forward. If I jack in the center of the loader arm cross member the rear wheels come off the...
