    3302 Vs. 2501 (first tractor)

Most emission equipment (excepting DPF) has been mostly seamless to date. Who knows how such things will work in the future as there is no long term reliability history.

    Is a B2401 or L2501 too small...

Neither is large and heavy enough to move 1,000 Lb. bales.

The HST or the Direct Trans - mainly mowing, but...?

HST is more convenient and versatile but also less efficient and more expensive. HST is clearly the transmission of choice for CUTs/SCUTs and will have higher resale value.

    Four way loader buckets ?

In many markets, it is not uncommon to find aged new equipment on dealer lots. Be advised that manufacturers usually add aged inventory incentives to such tractors. No, your dealer will likely not tell you of any such incentives and will simply pocket the cash if possible.

    Four way loader buckets ?

Agreed. I once watched an experienced skid steer operator using a 4-way bucket to move and level crushed stone in preparation for pouring a concrete floor for one of my post buildings. Guy was an artist and the 4-way bucket was the cat's meow for his work but I found the one on my L6060 to be...

    Four way loader buckets ?

I once owned an L6060 (recently sold) with FEL and Kubota 4-way bucket. The bucket was sometimes handy but always heavy, reducing payload significantly. The only thing that I used it for was occassionally picking up drift wood or cut logs from downed trees. I would not buy another one.

    Turbo engine vs Naturally aspirated

Agreed. If you re-read the OP's original question you will find that he questions whether to choose the NA or turbo version of the Perkins engine in question. I answered his question based upon the information he provided. I did not attemp to answer questions not asked. Given the information...

    Turbo engine vs Naturally aspirated

HP is HP. Suitability for a particular application is an entirely different issue.

    mid mount rotary mower RC60-B

Your deck is a proper terrain following deck. The cutting height is set by adjustment of the gage wheels. Are all 4 gage wheels set to the same (and correct) cutting height? If so, look to the lifting mechanism. Is the lift control stop set to allow the lift to lower fully? Adjustment of the...

    Turbo engine vs Naturally aspirated

Note: My original post stated "and" save the Aside from the $700 "bonus," you do not need the 60 HP engine which has the unnecessary turbo system subject to infancy failure and/or durability issues. This is not rocket science. Why gild the lilly even at equal cost?
