what do you weekend warriors use for tractor insurance?

As a retired attorney, I would certainly need to see that policy.

    Kubota B2150

The wiring diagram is in the WSM for my B1750 (same series). It should be in your WSM. Yes, the Japanese translations can be confusing. Like my B1750, your tractor has Bi-Speed Turn. FWIW, this should always be turned off when using a FEL.

what do you weekend warriors use for tractor insurance?

Let me know what your homeowner's insurance company says when you file a claim after driving your tractor into the pond.

what do you weekend warriors use for tractor insurance?

I carried a rider on my farm (or homeowners) insurance to cover everything in my barns against fire and theft. Quite reasonable. Not sure where one would find insurance against one's negligent use once any loans are paid.

    Land Pride disc question

Not familiar with your model disc. Is it possible to reverse the pins such that they point inward? Alternatively, if the disc is quick hitch compatible, the pins on the disc should be removeable. IF so, it might be possible to replace the removeable pins with conventional pins directed inward.

    HST Not Returning to Neutral

Not familiar with your model but all HST tractors that I have worked on have an adjustment for neutral. Adjustment procedure will be in WSM.

    First Kubota

Bingo. Hence the overwhelming popularity of trucks with plows for commercial snow removal. Again, for the third time, it depends upon areas needing snow removal. I routinely see municipalities using skid steers, rubber tired front-end loaders, quads, even road graders, but mostly trucks with...

    First Kubota

Used just about all options. As stated, depends upon areas needing routine clearing. It is readily apparent that the overwhelming majority of those who clear snow commercially, use trucks with plows rather than tractors. Again, depends upon areas needing clearing.

    First Kubota

Don't know where you live, how much snow you get, whether you plan to plow, blow or both, all of which would help. The GL series is a great series, if becoming a bit dated. Since you state that you plan to use if for snow removal only, you might you want to consider other snow removal options...

    B1750HSD

Last year I sold my IN farm and all of my Kubotas except my B1750 and relocated about 1,700 miles to Montana. I kept the B1750 and brought it with me because I did not know how much grass I would be mowing after relocation. Turns out, I will be able to mow my 1/2-acre lot, most of which is now...

    B2650 Hydro Noise

B2650 and similar models are well known for hydro whine. Of course, heavy use will result in increased whine. Using low range for FEL use?

    Drum mower experience?

Why not a simple rough-cut rotary (bush hog type) cutter? Less expensive and more durable.

B7100 HST or B8200 gear for first tractor

The HST is far more convenient and versatile while the gear unit is more durable, a bit more efficient, and likely does not have live PTO. The gear unit is also unsynchronized, requiring full stops to change gears. Be advised that HST units are not tolerant of dirty (or incorrect) oils and/or...

Advice for evaluating models of used finish mowers

No magic bullets regarding brands, but inexpensive brands generally do not hold up as well as more expensive brands. I would be most concerned with parts availability of brands not well known and/or inexpensive. Be advised that quality 72" finish mowers can be quite heavy. You may need front...

Not worth the cost and downsides in my opinion.

First time out with the new LX4020

Liquid ballast will help a bit, but serious FEL work will require a counterweight. I recommend a ballast box. Unless things have changed wheel weights are not offered for the LX series.
