150ft drive and stump clearing BX23S

Used to work in Rocky Mount, NC in cotton fields and find pottery chunks and arrow heads would pop up every now and then after a good rain. The superintendent of the research farm had a very nice collection. (most of the research stations had collections...) I live on Crabtree Creek (in town)...

    SEAT SWITCH

Don't know if this is possible but for my L2800, there was enough extra wire going to the OPS, to where I was able to loop the wire over the lever that held down the arm which would allow me to get off the tractor with the PTO running!! (you can stand up and drive forward... doing that). Now...

    Difference between models

I'll add that the LX is lighter, less weight. Which if you are mainly mowing, is a good thing.

    UP GRADEING MEMBERSHIP

So yea, if you use your email address, you can get to where you can use your credit card to pay but you must UNCHECK, "set up my paypal account" at the bottom - you do that, and you'll be paying as a GUEST. They need another option since I'm not giving paypal my credit card or my email...

    Staying away from town!

Spent some time around McGraw, NY - Uncle lived there and had a chainsaw shop in Cortland. Right on the river... Very nice area!

    Staying away from town!

For us, in a town of 2,500 to 3000, The Hillsville, VA; Memorial day and Labor Day Flea Market/Gun Shows typically sees attendance numbers around 500,000 visitors over the four-day event. It's nuts... The town finally got a by-pass around it - before that by-pass, it would take hours going...

Need Codes but Digital display inoperable, 2017- L3301

I may have a 20 year old tractor, but I would not trade it for this new crap for nothin'. Sensors, electronics, modules - have a hard time surviving rough harsh conditions (granted a rollover is more than what a normal tractor does). I feel sorry for the owner.... doesn't look like there's...

Back blade / landscape rake advice

I'll add 2 cents to this, in 2005 before Craig's List went down the crapper... in eastern NC, you could pickup blades cheap. I got 2 at $50 each and nice one for $250 and another one for $100, all 6 footers. I turned one into a rake, made it a 7 footer, with tines at either 1.5" or 2" apart...

    L3350, L3750 PTO Guard

Funny, that was the very first thing that I removed from my (then) brand new tractor! Different model, smaller but it's somewhere in the shed. Makes hooking up the PTO a real PITA that I didn't want to deal with day in and day out. I treat the PTO as super dangerous and will not get off the...

    L2800 HST PTO Troubles

I only just pasted 1000 hours - since you got 1.5 times that many hours... I doubt I'll have that kind of wear. BUT since I plan to keep this (hopefully) another 20 years and maybe longer... are those mostly HST parts? The last couple of photos (I believe) are the rocker for the HST (forward...

    L2800 HST PTO Troubles

Great job... was there any tricky part of the process with changing out the Cams? Or was it pretty straight forward?

Need advice on gravel driveway repair

Do you know how to use a box blade? Basic question but if you have the top link too short to begin with, you can make a mess very quickly (several of us have done that). Try extending the top link so that you are riding on the rear blade of the box blade at first... then shorten the top link...
