Update: Apparently the ole girl just needed some rest. Had to jump it off, but it started up when I got home last night.

Didn’t bog down and I didn’t stall it out. It just shut off. Now it won’t even turn over. Tried to jump it off too. Nothing.

Won’t turn over no matter what. Disengaged the pto. Took the shaft off too.

Was doing some brush hogging along a tree line and hit some bigger brush/branches and the engine just shut off. Now it won’t even turn over. Shear pin didn’t even break. I unhooked the pto shaft and still nothing. Is there some sort of safety mechanism I’m unaware of.

I will but I doubt that’s it. I’m thinking it’s something in the starter or switch. I could always jump it off but now can’t. And like I said, it’s not making that clicking sound when I turn the key.

My L2550 won’t start. Battery is fine. I’m pretty positive it’s either the starter, starter solenoid, or cable. It won’t jump off and when I turn the key, it doesn’t make that clicking sound. What can I do to narrow it down and can I bypass it to get it started temporarily? We just got some...

So my saga continues. I think I found and cleaned the fuel problem but in the process I dropped a clamp in the fuel tank and I’m having a difficult time fishing it out after I drained the tank. Is it the end of the world if I leave it in? I really this thing running to work around the farm.

Ok, dumb question, how the heck do I do that and not spill fuel? Or am I going to have to drain the tank?

No dice. I’m only getting a drip into the fuel filter.

Spoke too soon. Got it running. But then it quit. Looks like the fuel is not getting to the filter. I’m a novice so where the tank strainer/vent?

Bled the lines and it’s up and running now. Thanks for the help!

Column gear shifter just broke tonight on my L2550. What's the best place to order a replacement for it? It's a 1992 model. I'm thinking I might need to weld it in the meantime. Any other suggestions?

Need to know what post hole digger attachment would fit my L2550. I see the County Line at TSC, but I’m not sure it’s a good fit or not for my tractor. Just purchased 23 acres and have lots of fencing to put up in the near future. Any help would be appreciate.
