    Coolant flush or drain/fill?

Likely so. But honestly I don't care. (not being flippant BTW) I've just always been a more=less trouble regardless of the fluid involved. And yeah I get it but in my case if I drop an extra $15 or so on it per year it's just something I do, it's a past time and makes me feel better as I'm in...

    Coolant flush or drain/fill?

I much rather just do a drop and refill life left or not. Whether coolant, engine oil, trans/gearbox, whatever. Firm believer in avoiding issues. I get it though. If you're running a fleet you want to squeeze every dime you can

    Coolant flush or drain/fill?

Last time I was at the dealer getting filters I noted they had K branded coolant in stock and it was sort of a purplish hue. I know I know the color doesn't mean the formula

    Coolant flush or drain/fill?

When I did the flush that first time, I used a mild flush. Just a touch of dishwasher detergent like maybe 2 teaspoons. Flushed it out with plenty of water first couple times with my hose water then, a few gallons of distilled water. Then the coolant

    Coolant flush or drain/fill?

When I first got my G2160, I'm sure if it had ever been changed the last time was a very long time previous. When I opened the petcock it would not even drain. I had to take it out and drain out clean out all the debris and rust clogging it up. The petcock worked fine after so, I then did a...

    Mower blades

I am very happy with my Predator blades. Hold an edge like crazy, even after times I know I've done something that should have destroyed others these don't show so much as a "nick"

    Safety Switch failure determination

If you think it may be starter or battery you can bypass it all if you CAREFULLY jump the starter solenoid. If that starts it you know battery and starter are good. Then get out your trusty Fluke and have at it

    FedEx strikes again

IDK if you ship a lot for business or not. I do. I have a home KitchenAid Mixer repair business and I ship them all over. I've branched out some into higher end coffee grinders as well (mostly Baratza) as they're easier to get parts for and are built to be repaired rather than thrown away. In...

    FedEx strikes again

IDK how it could be a "regional" issue with USPS. After all the issues have happened when I've sent things through them all over the country. So I cannot point to a section of the country and say "nope won't use them here because they're bad here" They're awful all over

    FedEx strikes again

For me it's USPS is the pits. So many things lost, damaged badly or in the case of a cell phone I sold STOLEN! I refuse to use USPS anymore for my business. I stick to UPS and FedEx and oddly most times for what I ship they're even cheaper!

New to me G2160 Steering Issue

Good luck getting that wheel off. I tried taking mine off and brother the :poop: I had to go through.

New to me G2160 Steering Issue

Is it not "working" or not "calibrated"? When I got mine it wasn't working. I researched a lot on it. Found a number of minor electrical issues (a blown fuse, a bad connection to the oil pressure switch, mis-calibrated, amongst the issues) got them squared away and I now have one finger power...

    Oil Choice

Way back IIRC around 71 or 72? Mobil came out with the new Mobil One in the silver metal can. It came in only one grade (5W20) and I began using it in my 69 Caddy Coupe Deville with the big 472 V8, I used it in my BMW R60/6 motorcycle, my buddy used it in his 70 Camaro V8, and his 66 Triumph 650...

    Oil Choice

You should be fine. Just don't push your intervals if you stick with it. The Super Tech is actually very good stuff.

    Oil Choice

Super Tech is good stuff. Not sure about for small engines but it still should be decent stuff. Is that Kaw water or air cooled?
