    FEL while mowing.

I like to leave to loader alone and not mow. ;)

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The only accurate fuel gauge I've ever had in any machine was a stick.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Fixed a broken zirk on the BH bucket. Threads are wiped out on the cylinder so plugged it. Drilled and tapped a new hole where the zirk won't get mashed (3rd or 4th time). Greased everything and checked and topped off all liquids. Enough for now. time to get the coals going!

Got an 18v grease gun. Darn that thing works good.

    What's cookin' boys?

Couldn't quite finish up a lamb shoulder roast in a stew. Lamb is hard to find around here.

    B7100 non-HST dipstick

I've only had this machine for 34 years and it was 15-20 years old when I got it so I thought I should figure this out. Especially when the stopper slipped on the stem. I can't say it's kept me up at night. Love this forum and all y'all!

    B7100 non-HST dipstick

Thanks for the pix. I've always wondered what the 537 and 364 meant. Different models? And the other marks?? Looks like I guessed close enough to just use the top mark for full when level:

    B7100 non-HST dipstick

Not that it makes a difference to HST to gear units but please, someone, measure the length from the dipstick seat to the upper of the oil level? Pretty please? Some years back the seat slipped on the dipstick and I'm and just guessing. I'm sure it's too full from where I guessed. Not that I've...

Best ideas for adjustable lifting strap or chains?

I have several cable chokers but have to stop when I get to the hard pack because the imbedded rock breaks strands. I built a log tote so I can lift one end and minimize rocks imbedding into the bark on the way to the log deck. The rigging is the easy part. it's getting the logs out without...

Best ideas for adjustable lifting strap or chains?

Good for you. I use logging chains for most stuff and lifting straps if I have to go there. Sometimes a cable but I am really cautious with them. I have logging cables salvaged from the hills. I have seen how they failed. I am really shy about snap back. In the hills I have found cable chokers...

    FAST B7100

The problem is the backlash on the steering shaft, ball nut and bearings. Many thanks to @Mountainman for hinting, ever so graciously, that I should look a bit further instead of just being a parts/assembly swapper. He sure could've sold me the steering box assy but offered some motivation...

OK smart guys answer me this

To me, no. There is no ideal weight. It's whatever gets the job done safely and is below the max. I'd fill the tires first and then go from there. Somethings a guy doesn't want the full load of weight and if you have the stuff to make up a weldment that can hold X number of 12" walkway blocks I...

    FAST B7100

#3, 66811-41200, Comp, Nut Ball; #5, H6680-41150, Shaft, Sector For #3, I need two each - one for the tractor and, according to the wife, my Nut Ball is missing so I need a replacement. All my parts are obsolete too.

    Tire Foam for small stuff

Hand carts, the Gorilla cart, the wheelbarrows... all have rotten rubber and I am tired of yet another garbage replacement from China and leaked down tires when I need the tool. Is there a decent foam fill kit for small tires that you are happy with the outcome?

    Very sad day

I think about this stuff too often these days. All I can say is I hurt for your loss.
