So I just noticed the roll pin is gone from the hydraulic block. Not sure when that happened. The adjuster could have been spun around. How can I tell if it is clocked the right way before I put the pin back in? Does it being 180 out make a difference?

I'm not sure about your gauge, but normally you can ground the wire going to the sending unit quickly and see if it shows full on the gauge. If it goes full you probably have an issue with the sending unit. Don't do it too long unless you use a resistor though...
