    Draft control missing part m4500

Jerry, Thanks for the info on the lock bracket dimensions. I'll try to fabricate one soon and install it. I have a pretty heavy 8 foot blade mounted to the 3 point right now. I didn't want to lift anything too heavy until I install the lock bracket. I will also run through the hydraulic...

    Draft control missing part m4500

I leave the draft control lever down and raise/lower with the position lever. I noticed yesterday that when turn the hydraulic speed control up, regardless of the position control lever location the 3 point will raise. based on all this “wired mess” I think I’m going to bite the bullet and go...

    Draft control missing part m4500

One more question. My 3 point control lever acts weird compared to other machines I have operated. It lifts smooth and with full power. But if I move it too fast the 3 point movement stalls and holds at that spot. I can move the lever back down then up slower and it will lift through the entire...

    Draft control missing part m4500

Sorry Jerry but I have no idea what year. When I buy parts I say "1980-ish". Pretty sure it mounts to this surface (red arrow) and is attached via 2 holes (blue arrows). Thanks for the help.

    Draft control missing part m4500

I am trying to repair draft control on an m4500 that has been modified/hacked during a previous repair. I think the "lock bracket" is missing. It looks like it be a rectangular bar with a couple of holes and easy to fabricate if I had dimensions. Anyone willing to take measurements or post an...

    UPDATE: Diesel to flush transmission???

Sorry forgot to add the model is an M4500. 1980 ish. Plenty of hours but sat for probably 5 years. Was on a working orchard. Brake cleaner dissolves the sludge but I have no intention of running it through the pump...

    UPDATE: Diesel to flush transmission???

I have a sludge that is not dissolved by hydraulic fluid. It is the consistency of grease. this is my brake assembly housing but I am confident that this sludge is present in the transmission. The brake discs failed and pieces of brake fiber are mixed in w this sludge. If not diesel are there...

L35 front axle pivot seal replacement

Next challenge is the seal installation. Both the seal and the inner race are assembled. I wonder if it is best to disassemble and install separately or try to clamp the assembly together some how?

L35 front axle pivot seal replacement

Thanks Pau. That's basically what I just figured out. Jammed an aluminum bar in as a lever and smacked it w a hammer. Came right out! Then I was able to get into #100 (clip) and it pretty much fell apart.

    B2782 3 point conversion

Hey b12, how much will you give me for it? Wolfman you are a wise one... ""bolt on a PTO drive shaft to it that has a shear pin setup"" Any suggestions on where to get one of said gizmos? The shaft is 1.25" with a 0.25" key. Jim

    B2782 3 point conversion

Checked out the sprockets... The tooth count on the sprockets are 11:36. So if the rear PTO shaft is turning at 540 RPM (rather than mid PTO at 2500 RPM) and I remove the 11:36 sprocket set (1:3.27) then it would spin the second stage impeller at 540 RPM rather than 764 RPM if it were run off a...

    B2782 3 point conversion

That makes sense Wolfman. Looks like 4 or 5 to 1 reduction through the sprockets. That would explain why the three-point upgrade kit doesn't have any sprockets in it. Don't change them just remove them! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
