Yes. Seems to be a little involved for a very small leak. Not that i'm not capable & do have the tooling to complete the task. The more I look a the diassembly in WSM I think I just keep a eye on it. THANKS
L3130 1200hr seal leak 1/4 to 1/2 cup in a yr & a 1/2 / 80-90 gear oil / 70 hours run time / every thing is tight / just one side /Am I looking for work in changing the seal item # 9 in repaire manl. Thoughts on this THANKS
Never called it that. But back in the 70's you would "run in the New brakes" on the stock cars. Was to polish off the brake fibers & match the shoe drum. Don't know if it made a differance but every body did it.
There all over pricing on face book from $50 to &250 / Your 90 is fine just bevel the edges to get penatration. I beveled all of this including the fillet welds try to get 100% when ever posable.
