    Dirty Girl

Re-read that. "dirt injection slot" still seems to be ambiguous. 🤷‍♂️ I got duped on this thread, just like the one titled "Starting Trouble". At least this one was good for some double entendres...

    Whos into home grown

Pretty "fruitful" year for our one producing pecan. I'm thinking we'll get 5+ buckets in the end. Going away gift I guess, as we'll be leaving it behind soon...

What to do with ‘yard’ waste?

Also, FWIW, I found I prefer burning at night because A) I'm a night owl and B) less wind. Not my idea, probably a fellow night owl that rationalized it that way...

What to do with ‘yard’ waste?

@NCL4701's post covers it pretty well from my perspective, but I can add a couple comments. I was surprised how I could just add to a pile periodically and smush it down with the forks, and it would stay reasonably-sized for stuff collected near the dwelling. But, with enough acreage+clearing...

Black Friday / Cyber Monday & First Plasma Cutter Options?

They say dry air is crucial for plasma cutting. I've never had moisture issues so I can't comment first hand on the impact. Greg

Black Friday / Cyber Monday & First Plasma Cutter Options?

My prediction: while you may not "need" a plasma cutter, once you have one for a while you'll find you wouldn't want to give it up. I can't help much with recommendations. Mine is pretty old technology at this point. Good luck, Greg

    What's cookin' boys?

I have an Anova similar to this. I originally bought it the night before a bbq competition/charity event as a way to keep some of the finished meat warm for serving. Worked great for that, but I've expanded its scope since...

    What's cookin' boys?

Here's an unappealing shot of our turkey cooking overnight via sous vide. It cooked about 18 hours at 147 degrees. And a shot of it on the kamado to smoke and crisp the skin. Amazing how much flavor gets into the meat in such a short time. And the final product... I previously fried...

    Limbinator

I'm guessing I have the same brush cutter. I just tried something possibly more dangerous than a spinning disk of doom, letting my wife operate the lift for limbing... (Aside from dangerous, a wife may also be an expensive and time consuming option. YMMV)

    Limbinator

Good stuff. I've been eyeing the LandHonor plates for a couple of my glacier-paced projects, so I'm glad to hear they fit your Kubota without mods. I really don't want the plate itself to be it's own project, I've got enough to do... If you're going with battery powered, will you call it the...

    must-have workshop features

This thread makes me want to create another called "show off pictures of your shop" ! Thanks for all the input on this one. Def informative to hear what others have landed on. Greg
