What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks for the offer, but it is in pretty good shape. Although forward tine only, it does a great job.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used the high priced wheelbarrow today. I moved a couple of rototillers out of the barn to make room for a new old rototiller. The Cub Cadet runs OK, but has crazy engine vibration. The gas tank fell off and was relocated. The Honda needs some carb work. The new old one is a 1979 Troy Built Horse.

Newbie PTO and Brush Cutter operation

I have a L3901 and engage the brush cutter at ~1500 rpm. To quickly reduce speed of blades, stop tractor, leave PTO engaged, throttle all the way down. When at idle speed, disengage the PTO. I rarely if ever disengage the PTO while mowing until I am finished.

    Kubota 1140 CPX Overheating

Temp cycling like you describe sounds like a sticky thermostat, Another possibility is the stat "jiggle pin" may be stuck closed. The stat should dampen out and modulate temperature without excessive swings. Yours seems like step changes. Stat should be replaced.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I put the battery in a maintainer for a while and attached the edge tamers on the bucket. Current forecast is ~12 inches over the weekend.

    To KTAC or not KTAC

I added the tractor to my State Farm homeowners and auto policy. Last year, the extra amount for the tractor was $450.
