More Ads

Over the past couple days I’ve found an increasing number of ads. Anyone else? I’m using Safari.

Ok, maybe my error. Dug deeper into Adblock settings and found exceptions….disable exceptions and seems to be ok….for now….

I get none of that nonsense and also use safari. Hopefully it holds up for you.

I used Ad Block Plus in the past, but Ublock keeps up with YouTube's attempts at blocking Adblockers, faster.

I think it’s been posted here previously that if you become a paying-supporter you’ll see fewer ads.

As for YouTube…. I don’t subscribe over there….so I’m subjected to the ads despite having Adblocker. I hate those Ads because I usually watch videos late at night and have the volume a bit “down”….and those ADs pop-up at surprising times and are LOUD.

There are “Free” memberships…and there are paid memberships at various levels. The “paid” memberships see fewer ads depending upon membership-level. I’m not familiar with the scales…but I’m a Lifetime Member and see zero ads….

Just switched over to DuckDuckGo. No issues. Site was unusable with Chrome.

I use chrome and "TOTALAdblock" and don't have any problems with ads. I am running Windows 11 Professional on this computer, and overall satisfaction with the new Windows program is less than stellar. Yesterday Microsoft did an update to the operating system and I lost my sound. I only mention this because the problem might be with your operating system conflicting with the ad blocker.
