I agree. Problem is I need the tractor now to bale ASAP and we're headed for ridiculously hot weather from Sat through at least Thurs ---mid 100's to 100 teens.

I just dropped off my old Dodge Ram that's also having AC issues at a decent shop that handles AC stuff. Owner - we can't tell you anything without emptying the system, pulling a vacuum and recharging to appropriate specs. Boom. Big difference. Maybe I need to trailer my tractor to him.

Agree -- my loader has legs that fold down and are held up by a pin. They lock in place by sliding them over and engaging another pin into a hole on a bracket. That's the easy part of unhooking the loader. I will add this caveat "always put your loader on a very level surface when you detach...

First -- thank you for your reply. There were various high pressure readings depending on what the mechanic was doing. At idle, it was around 240 (I think). When it started cycling the compressor, it went as high as 420. The high and lo acted in relation to each other as the cycling occurred...

Mine (M8540/1600 hrs) has plenty of battle scars. And I just had the seat out of the cab to access the AC evaporator under the floor. Lots of dirt in that cab! Forgot how nice it used to look.

Gotta disagree with the King Kutter blade. I have an 84" one and the design is not good - example, the pin to set the blade angle is ends up with it being easily bent (and thus stuck). Also - the welds broke etc (all while plowing snow). I'd go with "ya get what ya pay for" - look at LandPride.
