Tell me what NOT to do!

Grab your manual and a torque wrench and verify proper torque of lug bolts, loader subframes, and any other fastener the manual refers to. And make sure your loader pivot points are well greased, in other words don't assume the dealer prepped everything correctly.

    What's cookin' boys?

Ok so if it's raining and nasty outside, here's a great recipe for cast iron skillet-baked chicken. It's my favorite way of preparing the bird. A 5-pack of leg quarters will take 2 skillets. Make up your favorite dry rub. I only need to use salt, pepper, garlic and paprika in equal parts...

Skeets, What is it about chainsaws and humans anyway? Seems like some days we just dont get along. cutting a trench without a backhoe?

@ Troverman, Thanks for the compliment! I dug the trench from one side after the gravel was dumped . It would have taken less time if I could have worked it from both sides...

cutting a trench without a backhoe?

Here's a shot showing the trench I cut using my 4 foot wide bucket. It's for a 1-1/2" PVC water line that I ran under what was to become my new driveway. It's sitting inside a 3" PVC pipe. I started the trench with my middle buster, then rocked the loader (with Piranha tooth bar) , front...

    Notre Dame

Do a Google search on Andrew Tallon. In 2015 he did a laser scan of the entire building, accurate to 5mm. His point cloud data could be the beginnings of CAD files to replace or improve on the original framing. Unfortunately he died of a brain tumor a couple of years ago, but his data is safely...

When did it Start for you, Driving Tractors?

1964, parents bought a 1954 vintage 3 bedroom 2 bath house on a 1/3 acre plot smack in Saratoga, California. Phony Eichler knockoff in a decent sized subdivision that was already in decline. Dad was a frustrated orchardist, and the soil in the development was rock hard clay. Somehow he found a...

    B2320 Need Advise

@ Scattergun, Welcome to the forum. Lots of nice folks here to help you. I'm in my second year of ownership of my 2012 2320. Last year I picked up a middle buster from TSC and it dragged it through heavy dry clay with no loss of traction. A big enough root will stop the tractor, but for...
