    Back hoe Blues.....(almost :o)

    Cab for BX 1880

We fabricated a cheap cab for my neighbor's older BX with some light framework and enclosed with some "double polished" clear window vinyl. Awesome visibility and it keeps the snow and wind off the operator. A reasonably priced ready to go "Cheap" enclosure could be had by using a golf cart...

Orange tractor related but NOT Kubota

I , too, grew up with dad's WD45 and a Minneapolis Moline "U". Spent many a long, hot, dusty, dirty day alone in the fields with them. Good times!!]

EA Root Rake Grapple on my MX5100

    Thoughts or advise

Been in the same predicament with my rototiller while locating old buried barbed wire fencline! I agree with NIW..... thin cut off wheel got the majority off quick and easily. For the rest (sorry I don't have a pic of it) a stout wire hook on the end of a handle works well to pull loose the...

Automotive Museum and Member Classics...What We Do For Fun.

Growing up as kids....my brother and I raised an acre or two of onions to sell for our spending money. An Allis Chalmers "G" was our cultivator tractor. That machine was a blast to drive to and from the onion patch and made cultivating between the rows a breeze. Sure beat hoeing by hand and...

Using the drawbar to pull a trailer

I do the same with my B2650 and my car hauler trailer. I'm assuming moving an empty trailer? If so, you should be just fine. I don't have/use a quick hitch so I can't comment on that. Other than raise your quick hitch up and check for clearance against your trailer tongue. I'd also guess...

    Switch Identification

If you haven't already....... activate the switch with the main key to "ON" or tractor running and see what lights up, rings, dings, or cuts out.

    Grapple Claw storage?

That's a great idea!! And perfect for when I use the tractor at our wood lot a couple hours away. Nice to have both the bucket and grapple along, but hate having to dig the grapple out of the mud after its either fallen over or sunk after a few days of unexpected hard rainstorms!! Another...

    Grapple Claw storage?

My EA 55" Grapple dolly build is Here Already been 5 yrs since first built. On my concrete floor it sure is nice to roll it off to the side when not in use and right up to the front of the tractor when it is needed for a quick hook up.

Mower blades for b1750 with RC60B deck

If the book says 20.6 inches: 20 9/16" equals 20.625 inches. My guess is that's the exact match. I doubt the extra .025" would cause any problems. Thus the 396-787 should work.

    Snowblower advice needed

If you're in the woods in the Bemidji, MN area..... I doubt you'll encounter much wind driven, hard packed snow drifts like we can get here in North Dakota open areas. You'll do well with anything just a little wider than your rear tread spread. And like mentioned above, on the rare occasion...
