    Drive over cattle gaurd

If the bars are up off the ground the height of a railroad tie, about 10 inches, would that keep the cows from crossing? I guess I could dig a pit.

    Drive over cattle gaurd

I would like to build a drive over cattle guard, so I can get in and out of the pen without having to open a gate. I have a L2800 that according to Tractor Data weighs up to 2600 pounds. I'm not sure if that includes the weight of the loader or not. I would sometimes cross this with the bush hog...

2006 L2800 dies when PTO is engaged

No it was not done correctly, but it has worked that way since last fall. Funny thing is, I went out this morning and everything worked fine, I was able to finish tilling the garden. I know it is not fixed, but hard to find problem now that it is working.

    Gear shift L2800 dies

I'm having the same issue, did you ever figure out the problem?

2006 L2800 dies when PTO is engaged

The OPC was disconnected when I bought the tractor, so I don't think it is the problem.

2006 L2800 dies when PTO is engaged

Here's my issue. I was tilling the garden and the tractor died. Gear drive tractor. When I have it in neutral it starts. but dies as soon as I try to put it in gear, even with the clutch in. It also dies when I try to put the PTO in gear, even with the clutch in. I'm assuming it's some kind of...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Tilled my first garden for pay. Had so much fun that I thought they would say "anyone smiling that much is having too much fun, and doesn't need paid." Kubota L2800 with keen cuttter tiller that I picked up last fall.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I installed my WR Long 3rd function kit that I got from Everything Attachments. I got it all done in less then an hour except I need to go buy a crimping tool for the electrical connections. Guess I'll have to violate the social distancing and head to the parts store tomorrow. the SSQA adapter...

    EA Grapple or Green Machine

I put in my order with EA yesterday. I'm getting the SSQA adapter, the WR Long 3rd function, an adapter plate for my bucket and the Wicked 55 grapple. Travis said about 10 days before they ship. I can't wait.

    EA Grapple or Green Machine

Those pictures represent exactly what I will be doing with my tractor and grapple. We have an old farmstead that has been neglected for several years and we have a lot of trees to clear and old iron. I'm really leaning towards the EA grapple. I might give them a call today.

    EA Grapple or Green Machine

I've been looking at adding an EA grapple with a WR Long 3rd function with a SSQA kit to my L2800. If I also add the weld on plate so I can still use my existing bucket, the total cost would be over $3500. Because of a post on a Facebook page, I have started to look at a Summit 3rd function kit...

    Draw Bar Trailer Hitch

I agree, I grew up with larger farm tractors and we would never think of pulling with a "cross over draw bar". I was always told to never hook anything to the tractor higher then the draw bar for safety reasons. Having said that, I now have the cross over draw bar with the attachment from TSC to...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Put the edge tamers on and moved some snow. Truth be told, we only had about 2 inches of snow last night and really didn't need to clear driveway as it's going to warm up tomorrow, but boys will be boys!

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Not today, but yesterday, brought in 3 bales of grass hay, which should last my "herd" for the rest of the winter. Its nice to have the tractor and not have to borrow my neighbors for this project. If the bales were any bigger, I might have some problems. I'm going to get my renter to bale me...

    The little tractor that could.

Thanks for the replies, I figured if it lifted it I was okay. Not to much of any hills where I am moving these bales, so I will be okay.
