    M9540 PTO buzzer

Have a 2009 M9540. Everytime I kick the PTO on, a very loud and annoying buzzer goes off. Only way to make it stop is to shut the PTO off. Not really an option for cutting and baling hay, or feeding cows with a bale shredder. Anyone have any ideas? The seat safety is plugged in, have new...

    2009 M9540 dash gauges died

My gauges are alive! Turns out just giving the fuses a visual inspection isn't good enough. The tester found 2 fuses, both 5s that were pooches. Thank you to everyone for your ideas and suggestions

    2009 M9540 dash gauges died

I have a 2009 M9540. Was feeding the cows this morning and all was right with the world. Drove over a frozen lump of cow crap and my dash gauged died. Speedo, tach, fuel gauge and temp gauge. Signal and hazard lights still work. Battery light and glow plug light do not come on either when...

    Kubota M9540 front hub

Our money, much like the elected leader of Canada is a joke. The closest dealer here doesn't have very knowledgeable staff in the back. Overpriced on most parts and could really learn a lesson in customer relations. I'm getting whatever I need for parts wise from Napa then doing the work...

    Kubota M9540 front hub

Parts are so damn pricey up here compared to south of the border. I ended up doing it on the tailgate of the wife's truck. Lol Waited until the snow stopped. Shop rates are ridiculous. $140/hour for a 18 yet old kid to do it not even a licensed mechanic.

    Kubota M9540 front hub

I paid $90 for the seal. Napa was the same price as Kubota. $26 for the small bearing. Kubota wanted $65. The bigger bearing I paid $66. Kubota wanted $90. Now, it's running NTN bearing. I can get them anywhere. Will put up the NTN bearing numbers later. Hopefully it can help someone.

    Kubota M9540 front hub

The dealer said they wouldn't do it, that they didn't have time. So, I got the bearings and seals thru my local Napa dealer and did it myself. I don't have a shop that I am able to use at the moment, so that's why I had asked Kubota dealer. I don't like doing stuff like this in the cold...

    Kubota M9540 front hub

Yes. Bevel gear case. I'm just used to the other girls la on the yard getting planetary fixes every once in a while. The bolts I believe are a M12.

    Kubota M9540 front hub

I recently put new bearings and oil seal in the front hub of my M9540. The guy at Kubota dealer near me wouldn't tell me the torque specs to reinstall the hub to the axel. Does anyone know how much to torque the 12 bolts that hold the planetary Hub to the main axel? Thank you It's a 2009 M9540...

What block heater, where to buy?

I called my local Kubota dealership. For a block heater and install will be close to $400. I can get a new recirculating heater for $100 and plumb it it myself. Just not sure where to run it as the room is less on the 9540 then on my other tractors.
