Yuppers, I have the link to those charts, thanks.

I know Surplus Center isn't the only place to get motors, it's just an easy place to look, and fairly affordable. Being new to plumbing hydraulics, when it said, "Provision for drain", I didn't realize it was required.

Looking over all the pumps, the vast majority of them have a drain port.

The only other one I found, that didn't break the bank was this one http://www.surpluscenter.com/Hydrau...11-9-cu-in-ROSS-MF120928-HYD-MOTOR-9-5623.axd Being 4 1/2 times bigger, I don't think I'd have to worry about too fast! There were others, but they were rated for less pressure than the tractor is, had funky manifold ports, or some other deal breaker.

It does have a funky shaft, but going with clamping a piece of hose for a coupler, that shouldn't matter. If nothing else, at least it's closer in size to the rotate shaft on the blower.

Course, once I'm up to this price range, Baileynet and other places have motors too.

thirdroc17,
Let me help you with a couple things that I think your missing.

Hydo motors extremely high torque values, even at reduced pressures, A hose and a couple hose clamps just won't hold, you'll shred/twist/shear a rubber hose connection in a split second, you need a much heavier joint, like a love joy or universal joint.
One thing to think about, would you connect a 10hp Briggs and Straton motor to the drive to spin the motor, I wouldn't think so, but that would what you would get with the motor you just pointed out.

I think your going to run into spin issues if you pick to large or too small of a motor, too small not enough HP and to large to much HP. What you really need is a slow rotation gear reduction drive motor, like a window motor but in hydraulic, they do make them.;)

I personally think it's foolish to allow the blower chute to rotate a full 360 deg., way to dangerous! You should leave the stops, put a slip clutch or limit switches in the connection if you don't think you can manually stop it.
There is a reason that Zero factory blowers rotate 360 deg.

NIW, I will address this since that was my idea...
We are only trying to turn a chute here, one that was originally designed to be turned with minimal effort by hand. We dont need to transfer large amounts of torque to the crank/worm assembly so a "heavier joint, like a love joy or universal joint" is just not needed in this application, and I would argue that in case the worm drive got stuck, frozen, or otherwise jammed we would want the rubber hose connection to shred/twist/shear anyway (not that it would anyway since I suggested hydraulic hose-that's pretty tough stuff) or at the very least (and more likely) slip to prevent major damage.

I think he (OP) is talking about installing a hydraulic motor to turn a shaft that he is presently turning with his hands which requires next to no torque or effort. The hydraulic motor will see next to no pressure unless his chute has an end stop at which if hit, the motor then has the capability of producing max pressure (1800 pounds) and probably destroy everything. That is the reason why he has stated he wants 360 deg. rotation with no end stops. That way his motor would never see anything but a few pounds of pressure.
I use to use boiler cleaning equipment that used rubber hoses for spinning the brush which developed more power than what should be required to spin around a chute.
