Finding a used truck with the right configureation is going to be a headache. This F-350 is roughly in the ball park of what I'm looking for but the bed is wayyy to long and would need to be cut shorter so I could put a trailer hitch on back. From the looks of it the bed seems like it would hit the ground at full tilt.

I bet it already has a trailer hitch on it, which would be extended to accomodate for the long bed. And, it won't hit the ground or hitch when dumping. The pivot point is extended at the back- you can see it peeking out under the bed.

I just worry about the sea-saw factor when there is that much bed sticking out past the wheels. I for one dont want to crawl under a body on my hands and knees to hitch up a trailer.

I don't think you have much to worry about. Most of them are set up like that, and are making the most of the setup- they tow, they don't interfer, and they have the most bed possible. Square footage in that bed is money in your pocket.

I'd ideally like to find a truck with a 10 to 12 foot flat bed and have the body stop maybe a foot or so past the rear axel and have 4 foot tall sides on it. A body like the one on the F-350 will make it a challange to pull a deck over trailer.

I have a friend who has a Ford F350 set up the same way. He pulled an equipment trailer with a skidsteer on it for a landscape business. The previous owner of the truck was the best, most successful landscaper in our area. They used the truck to pull an equipment trailer and a hydroseeder, with no issues. They did just about every new yard in the county, and I would see them all the time on jobsites. I know that setup will work. It's your money, your plan, your business- I'm not trying to convince you to do something that you are opposed to. I am saying that the truck setup does work for a landscape business because I know two owners of the same truck who used it for that purpose.

It just make me worry seeing a trailer hitch have to extend out that far from under a truck bed. I've too many of them have a nasty looking bow in them and were bent towards the ground from what appeared to look like over loading.

Most trucks I've seen with that chassy/body configuration has a 2 inch adaptor stuck out of the hitch that were easily a foot in length.
