No lights, no start, no nothing. Battery checks out 100%. Last time we used it, it ran fine, parked it, no problems. Adjusted the PTO lever, turned the seat to check the seat switch. All the things you are told to do in the owners manual.
Any idea of what to try and how to do it? We are not familiar with working on tractors. We have a 2007 B26.

Is it the original battery?
How did you check the Battery?
Can you load test the battery?
Did you check the fuses and the fusible link?
How long ago did you use it?
If you are comfortable with it, can you use a jump cable to go from the pos+ on the battery to the starter side of the starter solenoidal. There will be some sparks. Make sure the tractor is in neutral break set because the engine could start. Only hold the cable there long enough to verify if the starter will turn the engine or not. Do not try and start it this way.

2007 model? OEM battery? 6-yr old battery? First fall cool snap?

Try a known good battery from a different vehicle.

Try jumping the battery from another vehicle.

Make certain the battery connections are clean and tight and chassis ground connection is shiny clean and tight.

Battery cable(s) could be bad---corrosion, lumps, broken all or part.

Try using an engine-start battery booster but may need to disconnect negative cable from battery and clamp directly to booster---bad battery can defeat boost-start.

Please post back your continuing experiences so we may all learn.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I have no lights and there is nothing when I turn the ignition key on - no glow plug lights, engine light, etc....I get nothing, yet it ran great last time I used it about one month ago. I checked the battery with a load tester and the battery is A-OK. This happened once before and we jiggled some of the levers - PTO, loader, gear shift, etc. and it started, but we don't remember exactly what we did, and we have tried moving every lever in every direction to no avail. I did clean the battery terminals on the battery and the cables. Should the lights come on without the ignition turned on? I have no lights with ignition on or off. I don't have a shop manual so I don't know where the fusible link is. If someone can tell me that would be great. I don't know what is wrong but I am wondering if it is one of those safety switches - like for the seat or something else based upon some of the entries I have read. Any suggestions for me - the Tractor Dummy? Thanks very much for any help you can provide!

Not 100% sure on your model but fuseable link might be in wiring harness near alternator/starter. If blown, something caused it to blow.

Before any other troubleshooting though I would swap out the battery with a known good one, as many here have suggested.

IF you checked the battery with a load tester and it check "out" ok....then the battery should be good, even though I agree - the first thing I would do is swap it out, Do you have anything that is NOT hooked via the key switch? I have aux lights that are wired via a fuse to the battery, for some reason I need lights without the key I can do it.
Saying about that it happened BEFORE, tells me that you have safety switch going bad, or is not hitting just right. Swap out the battery, for the time and effort - it will eliminate one part of the puzzle. Could be possible that your KEY switch is bad, going bad....but I don't think it is the problem either. Not to have any lights, dash or otherwise is either, bad battery, an open circuit (safety switch), very poor connections or a fuse blown. Could rats have chewed through something that is not easily seen?

Follow the red hot wire off the battery and follow it, it will lead to a fuse box or fusible link.......

report back - all of us would like to know!

Thank you for your input., I checked my battery with a load tester and it was good. I just checked my emergency/flasher lights and they do not come on either - I have nothing! Can someone tell me where the safety switches are and how I can bypass them to determine the specific problem? Also, many of you have mentioned the fusible link. Can someone tell me where it is,what it looks like and how to check it? Or any other ideas????
Thanks again for any insight you can share!

You will just need a 12volt test light to find the problem.
First clip the test light to the Pos side of the battery and check to various metal points on the tractor to make sure you have a good ground, the light should light on every metal point, Frame, Engine, Body, and such.

Second go to the starter and clip the wire to the Battery terminal(large wire on the starter)touch to the starter case, should light.

There will be a smaller, but still large wire that goes from the starter or battery and goes to the ignition switch (usually red), you will need get to the back of the ignition switch and check that wire to make use the switch is getting power.

Do those and report your findings.;)

If you have power going into the switch, check to make sure you have power coming out of the switch.
check it in off, then check it in on and again in crank.

Thanks to all once again. We checked the operators manual and it says the hazard lights should come on whether the ignition is on or off. However, my hazards do not come on, nor do my tractor lights come on. My battery checks out fine under load, yet I have no hazards, no lights, no nothing. I think that means it is not my ignition switch. Does my logic make sense? What could cause this and how do I check for it. I am new to this tractor stuff and my mechanical aptitude is on the slim side - so I need some specific guidance if someone can help me out ....please!

somewhere the "hot" lead from the battery aint getting to the good stuff....
Have you switched batteries just for S and G's?
