MX5100 Why No Rear Hydraulics??

You know that they build some at the factory with the rear remotes right? It is an option, but some of them come already installed. Just like A/C's some are built without them. Whey you special order one, it isn't like they build it just for you, it is already built you just get to buy it. Even if my tractor came with rear remotes I would not have any thing to hook to them. So for me it would have just been an extra expense that I would not be using.

Yes I am well aware that the M model Kubotas come with 1 std rear remote.

I don't know about tractors, but when you special order a car or truck, they build that vehicle for the person that ordered it. I know this first hand. They do not just take a unit from the line and put XYZ on it.

They make so many in each configuration. It is a educated guess on how many standard transmission, how many with a/c and so on. There are vehicles sitting around in 99% of the configurations. Only in rare situations will someone ask for something they don't already have somewhere.

I have custom ordered 6 different vehicles from the Ford Motor Company. With everyone of them I was given a production time and was advised when there were delays. (2 of the 6 different orders) I new of a guy who actually went and watched his car get built and driven off the assembly line. I have ordered 2 other vehicles where I was told that they should be able to find what I wanted and they did. I guess that I fall into that very small window of not wanting what most do, so mine have been built for me as in it has my name on it when it went down the assembly line.

If you want something they don't have, they sure will build it to your needs. Just most people can find what they are looking for in stock somewhere.
