Post up any of your pics from this hunting season. Our bow season opened last weekend and this is my first kill of the year. Man those rage broad heads work great. I shot way to low and she still only went about 30 yards with a great blood trail.

Good job! Bow hunting is an awesome experience. I killed this 7 point buck 2 years ago behind my house on Homeowners Association property. The Association has about 20 acres that nobody uses due to the fact that it is separated from the subdivision by a swamp. I've bow hunted it for years. I haven't hunted this year yet. When the white oaks start losing their acorns I will be back there with my bow. I will keep trying to catch some Crappie until then.

This is a pic from my game cam yesterday of a doe with three fawns. I put out some apples and grain. I'm guessing sooner or later a buck will show up.

Great pics guys. We tried this morning but all I saw was a squirrel. 35 yard shot and I missed, scared the hell out of it though. My son saw a coyote, but could not get a shot off.

Nice doe, Helomech, I think I got her twin 2 nights ago. Funny thing is that I stood up in my stand when she went behind some trees at 20 yards, and was just starting to draw my bow when she popped out into the shooting lane and instantly pegged me. She started acting pretty nervous, and figuring she was about to bolt anyway I went to full draw and shot her while she was staring right at me. Couldn't believe that I pulled that one off!
Oh, and she was very kind to run across the un-picked bean field towards the lane where we walk in/out of the area, and dropped within a 100 yards of where I could bring the pickup. It made for an easy dragging job, especially since she was lying within 5 yards of a water run-off area that pointed right to the lane! :D

Cool, love it when they run close to a area they can be picked up. I have a honda big ride side by side, so I just drive it to the animal. I want to rig up a pulley system so I can use my front mounted winch to pull the game into the bed. Don't want to hurt myself lifting a deer into the bed. Getting old enough to know I am not bullet proof.

Yeah, I have a 4x4 ATV for whenever I need to get them from farther distances, but this bean field hadn't been picked yet and I'm not gonna drive a vehicle through crops. Hope they get the rest of the fields harvested soon!

Not a huge deer, but it has a 14" spread. If I had a rifle I would have let him go, but never shot a buck with a bow before. He was 40 yards away, and I thought he was 35 yards. The shot was a little low, but the rage did the trick. The arrow did not exit, the nock made it just into the chest cavity.
