Hydraulic Top Link

There are lots of times when the regular top link just isn't the right length, and my implement is angled wrong, and I hate to get off the tractor and mess with it. So I think this hydraulic top link is a great addition for the money.
I just had to add two UNF to 3/8" fittings from a local hydraulic shop, a 24" hose and a 36" hose, and two Pioneer hyd fittings to connect the hoses to my tractors rear hydraulics. From center of ball to center of ball its 22" collapsed, and 30" when extended. Its a beefy unit. For a Cat2, it's a pretty good deal.

That is a really nice set up. I think I will get the same for my M7040. Would save a lot of time.

They make longer versions of this top link. There are some that are like 35" fully extended, but as you can see, on my tractor 30" has the implement angled down more than enough, I would think. And at 22" fully retracted it has the implement aiming up at a pretty good angle. So it works good for me.

Sorry for perhaps a dumb question: What do you do to install one of these if you don't have the power/hydraulic ports in the rear of the tractor, as shown in the upper right of the first pic?

Ya I'm get one for my m7040 because the rear spear it doesn't have enough angle to keep the bale on . It's level to stick it and level when up . When it needs more upper angle . And the cylinder will be nice when blading .

You'd have to add rear hydraulics. There are kits out there that let you tap into your existing hydraulics. Or talk to your Kubota parts dealer about how to do it, but I bet they would be pricey.

I have an OEM TnT on one Kubota and a top-link from Fit-Rite on another, just can't beat how handy they are.
