Yes I have... They use them on some of the county road graders to break up hard road surfaces.

With the BR350 you can easily rip solid ice and frozen ground. They are not for finish grading but ripping up hard surfaces.

At 30 below, they will rip up asphalt. I know

I don't know; I built a set of stabilizers for a customer, and she now wants to know if I can make a toothed bar to fit the bottom of her 5' blade. I've never seen one, so the idea intrigues me.

I use them to groom trails for snowmobiles they are made by Bombardier. They are also used at ski resorts. The 350 means 350hp.

The ones that I operate art like the yellow , red, blue and white ones in the follong link. The first 6 - 8 lines of pics will give you a good representation of what they are.

I've seen several methods for various needs.

1. I've heard of people putting a Ratchet Rake on a blade. Or a serrated edge instead of straight.

3. Something like box blade scarifiers with a hooked clamp top and bottom of the straight shank, to clamp onto the rear blade where and how many as needed. See attached image.

4. A perforated square tube like box blades have, welded to the rear of a blade.

I emailed the customer last night. I looked at a Woods RB84 like hers, and did some research. It would be cheaper, and more practical, for her to pick up a box blade with scarifiers.
