One nice thing about the OEM route is having hard lines running down the arm vs hoses. You might put your own kit together using K's hard lines and brackets with a third party valve, switch, hoses, etc.

FWIW, I have a WR Long 3rd function on my LX2610 SU; it is still working great after 5 years. At the time of purchase, Kubota/Land Pride units were backordered for months.

Unfortunately, none of my paperwork shows the model number, and the tractor is 250+ miles away. I will be at our property on 24 AUG if you do not find a solution in the interim.

you have a LX2610SU with a a LA535 loader and BH77 backhoe and you want to add a third function. Is that correct?

If so there are multiple ways of doing that using either a Kubota 3rd function kit or one from a third party like Summit. Third party will be the least expensive and easily added.

You got it. And upon looking at the option through Summit, there is nothing specified for an LA535 loader, but there IS a kit specific to the LX2610 w/ LA534 loader. So I was curious how different and perhaps incompatible that kit may or may not be. Thanks for the help

I think you had everyone confused including me

The Summit kit for that tractor and the LA534 loader is going to he very close to working right out of the box. Not knowing the dimensional differences if any between the loaders I cant say for sure but almost everything in that kit should fit the LA535 loader. There may be some minor issues with the mounting brackets and length of the coupler hoses but nothing that cant be easily fixed.

The biggest issue is the BH77 backhoe. That changes the plumbing for any third function kit. You will connect the third function to the loader vakve using the hoses and instructions in the kit. But you are going to need a new longer hose for the BH supply which will now be coming from the third function valve rather than the loader valve. Not a big deal at all but something you will have to source separately.

Not to muddy the water too bad, but there apparently are Kubota kits available for the LA535, if that's the way you want to go. The B7368 for ROP models and B7369 for cab models. The difference seems to be the wiring.

They have parts to fit with or without a backhoe. I think you'd have to buy the QD couplers separately.
