Up until today, still running the OEM pencil box toolbox. It has held up well, it’s just kind of small.

Kind of surprising to me, this is what all fit in the pencil box with zero room left over. Not sure why some of this stuff was in there.

Was at the dealer a little while back and they had a nice metal toolbox about a time and a half bigger for $45. Wasn’t sure how much room there was between the ROPs and rear remote mount so I didn’t pick it up, but it got me to wondering if I might have a toolbox on hand that would be a bit more practical than the OEM.
Found a rather beat up, thin box that fits just perfectly. I don’t know its origins other than it is older than I am, probably by a good bit. Still perfectly servicable, but with more dents than I could count and dark brown paint splattered with white like someone accidentally hit it while shaking out a paint brush, it wasn’t exactly aesthetically pleasing. I guess it still isn’t aesthetically pleasing despite a spray can of orange paint sprucing it up a bit.

Regardless of its lack of beauty, I can now keep the extra pins, shear bolts for the chipper and bush hog, and the paint stick/binder clip seat switch over ride in the removable tray so they don’t constantly rattle to the bottom. Plenty of room for bigger stuff underneath and a good bit of room to spare.
