Is it poss to change hydraulic oil filter w/o emptying the hyd oil reservoir?

its always helpfull if you provide full infornation i assume uour question is in regards to the L5030 in your profile.. So is it an HST and which filter?

Mine called to change just the filter at 50 hours. Had to add a little to top it off. Not sure about the big tractors.
