Good afternoon! I have a B3200 with an RC72-27BA mower and the gauge tires are coming loose from the hub. I installed large washers to keep them from falling off the hubs (again), but that is only a band-aid. I thought, no problem, I'll just buy new ones.... Holy crap those things are ridiculously overpriced!!! I have been looking for alternatives, but I haven't been able to come up with a concrete answer. I know some of you have had the same issue, so what did you do? Bite the bullet, bend over, and buy the same ones? This is nuts!!

Not sure what the bearing diameter is on your wheels but have you looked at solid hand truck wheels?
Just a thought and at $26.30 each with free shipping you could buy a box of them and replace as needed.
Something like this maybe?

Those generic "flat free" tires wouldn't last a day on one of these mowers. I tried some recently on a Swisher pull behind and they got flat spots sitting with half the rated weight on them.

I've been meaning to look up the mower wheels for my RC72 because mine are floating on the bearings but they are staying on and feel tight. They are just moving side to side. I do grease them at least every other mowing.

The bushing/bearing is available separate but it shows it costs $24.71 times two per wheel at Messick's. Also the $154.44 wheel looks like it may not even come with the bearings. OUCH!!!

Just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, better than no replies at all. Figured they were rated at 200 lbs. each and for $25 a piece might be worth it if they last a season, or at least until he can find an alternative.

The max size of the wheel is 6" or it will bind. There has to be good option out there somewhere....

Just measured mine. The tire is approximately 6 by 2-1/2". Hub is approximately 3 by 3/4". I didn't remove the wheel to measure the axle.

I will be searching for a alternative before I need them. I have been impressed with how they have held up so far. The tractor has 370 hours on it and I imagine it has been mostly mowing. Even if I have to fork out $800 for a new set wouldn't be unreasonable for the performance they have offered.

These might work if you are a gambling man. Load capacity is only 150 lbs but should hold if those are accurate. Would need to measure the axle to see if 3/4" would work.

I see some 6x2 offerings on Amazon as well but most have smaller bearings.

Yours must be different than mine because mine don't have a hub. It's a solid rubber wheel with a bushing glued or pressed into the tire. Shaft size is the same, 3/4". As far as longevity goes, I would have to agree. Mine has a little over 500 hours and 99% of that is mowing. If there isn't a better alternative, I'll replace all four with OE.

Something like that might work. Best case scenario would be to find a wider tire. My ground out here is usually pretty soft and those skinny tires dig in pretty easily.
