You use that block but not with a tee. Its simple plumbing but to provide specifics I need to know what hose connections are currently on the hoe.

See this thread for the adapter block that replaces the cover on the block under the seat. Post #1 has a good diagram showing how the flow path is diverted by the adapter. It really doesn’t change the flow path, just sends it to the backhoe before going back to the same point on the tractor.

See post #16 in the thread below for how this is routed on my L185F to a rear remote valve. Also note that your L245 probably has the same port on the transmission as the green fittings screw into for tank return.

I recommend that you use port fittings (SAE or BSPP) and not NPT fittings. The port fittings seal much easier than NPT.

Thats not how you do it. You will need to purchase two female quick connects that match the male tips on your hoe. Then you install two new hoses for the hoe supply abd return.
  1. One hose replaces the PB hose on your loader valve. It goes from the PB port on the Ioader valve to the rear and terminates in one of the new female couplers. This is the supply for your backhoe valve.
  2. The second hose goes from the PB return port on the hydraulic outlet block to the rear and terminates with the male tip that is currently on the hoe return hose.
  3. You need to put the second new female coupler on the return hose from the hoe.
When the hoe is not mounted you MUST loop the two tractor side hoses together.

When you mount the hoe you disconnect the two tractor side hoses and connect them to the matching quick connects on the hoe.

The engine must ALWAYS be off anytime you make or break those connections and the loopback must ALWAYS be connected when the hoe is not connected. ALWAYS!!
